I like the silicone rubber feel of this cable and the fact it solders well and meets the specs of an 18 swg cable. Delivery was fast and the price was competitive. 5 meters was enough for needs but I am considering buying more, because in my busy hobby workshop I will be using more of this no doubt.

As described but had to be extremely careful separating the 2 parts as the joint seems stronger than the material. When making up the ends etc you'll obviously need to pull them apart but it easily tears off exposing wire, usually not a convenient place. Use a very sharp knife or scalpel to assist

It turned up on time, as it was fulfilled by Amazon. It turned up on the same day as five other Amazon packages, all ordered at the same time as part of the same order. You would have thought that they'd have figured out how to put 5 things in one box, bit it seems not.Anyway, the cable. It is black and red, and looks like a cable. I am pretty confident that if I connect it to a power source, current will flow through it. I will be disappointed if this is not the case. I will probably check this at the weekend.
