I bought these to add to my existing lights from the same company, and I will be buying more.Absolutely brilliant! The first set plug into my smart plug and the extra 2 sets plug in the existing set and each other to make a big string of lights!Not many lights are expandable in this fashion. A big bonus to me!I can't wait to start landscaping the garden and buy at least another 2 sets of these to show it off (please excuse the weeds in the second photo - the birds are nesting and eating them so I can't use weed killer).The lights are bright but unobtrusive to neighbours. Enough to see what's going on in your garden and where you're walking, without being flood lights.Don't hesitate if you are looking to buy these.Extremely easy to hang up - use cup hooks or (as I did) screws. For the full benefit I'd recommend an Alexa/Google smart plug and either have it set to voice command or a schedule. However, it isn't necessary if you have easy access to the socket to switch it on and off manually.I whole heartedly recommend these. Buy them, you won't regret it.

Had a bit of a challenge chossing lights for the garden as there are so many on Amazoin it gets mind boggling.I wanted a 50ft length to go round a pergola but then the choice is how many bulbs you want, e.g 25, 50 other. I went for 50 in the end so a buld every 6 inches, however this is very bright - too bright really - and I have ended up slightly unscrewing some if th ebulbs to turn them off and reduce the light level.My suggestion would be, unless you are lighting the flight path to your local airport (or need it really bright like over a cooking area) and just want mood level brightness then go for fewer bulbs on the line.Only real negative - the cable length to first bulb is ridiculous, 6" max. - same comment on most of the reviews of other sets I looked at too to be fair.I ordered the Amazon recommended extension cable with it too but the connector is a completely different size so no use. Luckily I had another (Amazon recommended) extension lead in the garage that didn't fit a set of solar lights I got which luckliy fit these.Glad I went for these though and so far my choice has been a good one.All bulbs worked first time out of the box and no failures so far.

I wanted a string of garden lights that did not depend on solar but likewise were cheap to run. As they are LED they hardly draw any power but give an amazing light when sat in the garden.They are not too bright but it means you can see what you are doing in the area rather than solar lights that just look good.Very lightweight so easy to mount on a fence or what ever you choose. You get two spare bulbs, not because the LED fails but more if you accidentally break the glass.Only one con, the lead from the mains plug to the first bulb is very short. You can buy a special extension lead that comes with matching mini plug and socket. extend it yourself with a cable joint or simply use a mains extension lead.

Firstly, these are lovely lights. I've got them running along the top of the garden fence and with 1 bulb every foot, they look pretty spectacular when they are on. The only issue I had was getting them to work with the extension cable that these lights were paired with on Amazon as 'frequently bought together'. These lights have a slightly different connection. The plug size and shape is the same but the extension lead has a rubber 'splitter' running vertically down the middle of the male connector. As the female connector on the lights doesn't have room for this to slot into, I ended up taking a pair of scissors and a sharp knife to the male connector until I had removed the offending piece of rubber. It didn't take long to do but was necessary in order to get the extension to work.I don't know how anyone uses these without the extension lead as the distance from the first bulb to the plug it literally about 30cm. Once up and working they are great lights, just be wary that the female plug connections on the lights are solid and will not connect to the Amazon extension leads without the modification mentioned in this review.Overall: Happy as they look great.

The media could not be loaded.  We were quoted £2.50 a metre for festoon hire from our wedding marquee company. As a result we decide to buy these instead, and used barrier posts as shepherds crooks. The result was absolutely fantastic. We ran 7 sets off a single plug and the effect was brilliant.I think the electronics for these are sound but the bulbs are a little more hit and miss- but it’s ok as you get 4 spares with each set. I wouldn’t suggest leaving out all year around as bulbs seem a little fragile but I have no doubt that the wiring would hold.If you are looking for reasonably priced festoon lighting that is scaleable I would highly recommend these. Seller is highly supportive for troubleshooting also.

I don't usually leave a review but I am so impressed with these I thought I would share.I bought and installed 2 sets and they have been in use for 3 months.I used cable clips to install.0% of the Led bulbs have failed or arrived broken. Each set comes with spare bulbs just in case but so far we have not needed them.They are weatherproof and have withstood storms, torrential rain, hail, gales, snow and temperatures down to - 5 with 0 bulb failure.Just the right warm colour temperature and brightness to look pretty without being overpowering.If I need anything like these again I will definitely buy again.Very happy.

very satisfied with this product. the bulbs are neither too small nor too big, they attach very easily, they are water proof, they are resistant to strong wind, they look great in the gazebo, especially when it is dark, they make a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend them! I'll buy another one to put on the fence.

These lights look fab and very easy to install. Each bulb socket has a clip so we fixed up a washing line along the eaves of the sheds and fence line to hang the light on. We used 2 x 50ft plus a 3m extension to the socket. Brilliant value.

Zugegeben, die Lichterkette ist mit drei Metern ganz schön kurz, aber das weiß man ja vor dem Kauf. Für mich passt das, weil ich damit meine bestehende Lichterkette verlängern wollte. Ich brauchte eine kompatible Lichterkette mit etwas größere Birnen. (Die kleinen Leuchtmittel bei anderen Lichterketten sehen, finde ich, nicht so gut aus). Für meine Anforderungen passt die BRIMAX LED Lichterkette somit gut.Die Lichterkette ist, wie erwartet, recht hochwertig - bei dem Preis kann man das auch erwarten. Die Leuchtmittel sind relativ groß (größer als bei den meisten anderen Lichterketten) und verfügen jeweils über klassische, kleine Standard Schraubsockel. Die Leuchtmittel können einzeln ausgewechselt werden. Deutsche Anleitung liegt bei.Die Kette leuchtet auch weiter, wenn einzelne Leuchten defekt sind oder fehlen. Die Lichterkette hat, neben dem normalen 230V Stecker, weitere Buchsen und Stecker um sie als Verlängerung an kompatible Ketten anzuschließen. Der Anschluss an die Steckdose erfolgt ohne störenden Trafo - einfach einstecken.Die Lichterkette ist CE zertifiziert und hat Schutzklasse IP44 - ist also für den Garten, Regen und Spritzwasser grundsätzlich geeignet, wenn auch eine höhere Schutzklasse besser gewesen wäre.Das Ganze macht jedenfalls einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck.Das Licht ist schön warm aber relativ hell. Dimmen kann man diese Lichterkette eigentlich nicht. Ich habe aber testweise einen kleinen externen Dimmer angesteckt und, was soll ich sagen, die Lichterkette lässt sich tatsächlich problemlos dimmen. Damit bin ich wunschlos glücklich. Dimmer zum Einstecken gibt es ab rd. 5 €.Die Qualität der Lichterkette ist wirklich sehr gut, der Preis ist es aber nicht. Ich finde die derzeit rd. 18 € doch recht mutig. Zudem fehlt die eigentlich übliche mitgelieferte Ersatzbirne.Insofern Kaufempfehlung für ein gutes Produkt, aber ein halber Stern Abzug für den hohen Preis und die fehlende Ersatzbirne.

I needed outdoor lights to light up the patio enough to enjoy the outside when it’s dark. These lights are perfect. They come with bulbs that can be replaced and came with 4 spare bulbs. Highly recommended.

Au départ j’ai acheté cette guirlande sans vraiment savoir si le produit était de qualité ou pas. Je suis agréablement surpris par cette guirlande ! Facile à installer grâce aux petits crochets disponibles à chaque ampoule. La guirlande est fournie avec une prise européenne et une anglaise ( j’ai eu peur dans un premier temps car je ne trouvais pas la prise européenne, mais elle était bien dans la boîte). La lumière est chaude et rends une belle ambiance sur notre terrasse ! La lumière est très agréable mais ne remplacera pas un vrai apport de lumière pour vraiment voir clairement dans son assiette, mais pour moi, ce n’est pas le but de cet éclairage Cette guirlande est bien parallèle donc ce qui veut dire que si une ampoule vient à casser, seule cette ampoule est impactée et le reste de la guirlande fonctionnera toujours. Les ampoule semblent fragiles et heureusement il y a 4 ampoules en surplus pour les cas oû ( d’ailleurs j’en ai lâchée une lors de l’installation et cela n’a pas pardonné). Ceci dit je vais acheter une extension car je suis relativement content et je veux couvrir une plus grande partie de notre terrasse. Je verrai bien évidemment à l’usage, mais très satisfait pour le moment.

Colis reçu avec 3 ampoules cassés mais après avoir échangé avec le sav tout est rentré dans l'ordre.Ensemble de bonne qualité, belle luminosité et du coup ça rend super bien !
