Measured as instructed, WAY too big. And the strap that goes over the back is pointless, does not stay up.

The fit is a little awkward for my dog but I would not say it isn't helping. He's old and any support for him is helpful. The quality is good though of the product.

It was pretty thin material so l don't think it provided the support that my dogs leg needed.

I got a large for my my 130 lb dog, and I am quite certain it was intended for a small hippo. Even with the Velcro at its limit, it's like a baggy dress.

The item did nothing to help my dog’s leg. I was not satisfied with the fit. It was loose fitting and gave no support. It came months later. By the time it came I no longer needed it because I bought something else to help my dog.

My 14 yr old, 60 lb Weimeraner suffers from Hip Displasia and arthritic pain so she often falls or slides down because she has lost the muscle strength or endurance to continue. It is so sad to watch because her spirit is as willing as a puppy. I purchased one for each hind leg and wanted them the next day so I settled for a large and a medium, the only choices for quick arrival time. It ended up being a good call at least for this review. The Medium fits her perfectly and while the large is too big, I was still able to use it and it did the job just as well for the other leg! It did not cut into her – it is soft, cushy neoprene like material with an elastic band that wraps over the back and the stomach for a comfortable fit. Yes, she walked funny at first but then she was hopping about like a bunny, so happy to have the full use of her leg using the support of her back and entire body for stability and strength. She could still go to the bathroom #1 and #2 without an issue and it actually helped her stay steady and not fall. She did not like having it on so much and laying down but she got used to it. We've decided to take it off at night for bed and have it on during the day only when she is most active. I hope this helps you figure out if this is a good choice in helping your fuzzy family member find comfort and and some additional puppy strength.
