I tried replacing my 15 year old version of this straightener/curler, but apparently it was undergoing some changes and I couldn't find it. Now it is here and even better than before!It does a fantastic job at straightening, but the ability to curl and add waves to your hair is the best! It's simple to use and easy on your hair.I used to use an old-fashioned barrel curling iron, but I found I wanted to smooth out the fly aways and it simply wasn't designed for that.I tried the new barrel curling irons (no clip, just wrap hair around it), but such a pain to use and I was never completely satisfied with the results.I tried the spinning curler, but my hair is too thick to cooperate and I returned it.I was SO HAPPY to find that the Infiniti Pro was available with a new design. It works even better than my old one as it slides down my hair easily and makes curling much easier given the plates on both outsides.If you have thicker long hair, consider this as an excellent "all in one" appliance. It is light weight and easy to travel with. I simply love it!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Barely gets hot! Does not straighten hair. These are more like $15 flat irons. A complete waste of money!

I bought this to replace my older version, which was also a Conair, that finally died after about 6 years. One thing I really like about this one is that the rounded "curling" edges are are both sides of the straightener. My old one had them only on one side. The only drawback, and why I am giving it 4 stars, is that it takes a significantly longer time to heat up, compared to my old one.

My wife saw a demonstration of this hair styler in a department store found me and told me all about and she would wait while I go check it out as a present for her. I bought it for her because the hair on the model did look great. This is the only hair styler my wife uses now and I am happy. Her hair always looks great and its made by Conair so I know it will last a long time.

The Conair YOU Style Straightener worked fine on short thin hair. This was actually a replacement for one previously owned that was dropped and broken. Works fine on my hair, but again, very thin and short hair. My only regret is that there is no automatic off on this model. To do it again, I would have purchased one that shuts off automatically. Based on my experience, I have to give it a 4 star because it works for me. I'm curious to see how it works on my daughter's hair! I'll update when she gets home from college! Update: Just to give a brief update of the product, I have now given it 3 stars. It did not work well on my daughters thicker wavy hair. Overall, the unit itself lasted less than one year with reasonable use.

I bought this to replace my older Conair Infinitipro 2 in 1 curler and flat iron and it does not perform as well. Only two heat options (high or low) and my hair did not glide through the tool as nicely when curling. I have fine hair and it kept getting stuck. Would work fine for a flat iron only. I’m returning this and going back to the older version.

This iron dose a great job, it dose not get so hot that it burns you(this I really like)but straight or curly style is easy to do
