My backyard chickens love it!
I only put this natural grass in one of my layer boxes and it’s now the only box they use. It seems like the softer grass allows them to easily manipulate the shape of the nest. Seems like they are happier to me.

Bought and immediately returned once a I saw it.
I thought for its price I would get a Solid easy clean nest with a sort of pad below. So this describes its self as a fluffy nest and it’s technology wicks for easy clean of the pad below. I have chickens. I returned as soon as I saw it. It’s not a solid nest. It’s a big bag of straw people. I seriously didn’t open the bag. I returned immediately and went to Tractor Supply. This was very disappointing! If you have money to throw in the fire at night to keep you warm then go ahead. But hay works too and 13.00 buys you a large square hay bail. They lay in it just fine. I have short plastic containers that fit inside the nesting box with hay inside. I can take them out, easy dump, and easy refill. Two words for what this nest. Rip Off. I bought a large bail of hay and enough boxes for the coup and still didn’t spend what I did attempting to get three out of the six ( I figured I would get the other three later.) nests. This description is a joke. This item is impractical because you can use it for a week before you have to get more. Birds are dirty people. If you want clean eggs I suggest changing more often. Worst buy I’ve ever made on Amazon!

Chickens don't like it
My chickens don't like it. I thought this would make the nesting box they were using even more luxurious, but they actually switched to another box rather than use this. It feels very artificial and better suited for use in an Easter basket.

Not for large birds or more than one nest.
I never used it because of the amount I received was not what I expected for what I paid. Not economical for my use.

Sort of disappointed to receive such a small amount of product compared to the price.

Not enough for the money
This was the too expensive for what you get and it’s too stringy. I would not order it again because it catches in the chickens feet.

very soft...chickens love it
Too bad it would cost so much to make all my nests with this...but one lucky hen gets this one !very soft, nice, I hope organic
