Clear, Concise. To the point. I love it!
I love what Jeff has done with this book (I have a number of his books, and his writing style and content is first rate, and this one is no exception). It's such a fast, easy read, and yet it's packed with lots of really helpful information. I had a decent amount of experience with the 7D Mark II before I bought the book, but within just the first few pages, I had already learned something new. The author's writing style is very conversational throughout, and I really like that you always feel like you're learning from another photographer, rather than just a technician.I also like that the book has that "jump in anywhere feel" so I was able to jump directly to the stuff I wanted to learn, which means a lot to me. Also, the author does a great job of breaking everything down in simple terms, but without leaving out any important details. I think it's a great book for the beginner, but there's plenty of meat here for folks with more experience. If you've got a 7D Mark II and want to get the most out of it, you've got to get this book. Highly recommended!

An ecellent tool
I have been waiting months to get a help book for Canon's 7D MarkII,my new camera. I like a book I can hold and reference, not something on my PC and this book is excellent. I have read it twice and keep it handy when I am planning to do some photography. He is very easy to follow and I had no trouble following his 1,2,3 steps. I learned a couple of things I had no idea I even had on this camera. I would recomment it to anyone who wants the most out of his 7D Mark II. I had the 7D, but this next level is a big step and Revell does a good job getting one into it. A great investment.

I couldn't be happier, I can find the subject I want in ...
I bought this book so I could get a grasp on the difference in my 5dMarkii and my new 7dMarkII. I couldn't be happier, I can find the subject I want in the index. Setting the custom controls is writen in easy to follow directions. The photos showing the various menues and explanation of what they do beats the camera manual for my use. His main photography interest is landscape, yet coveres the various shooting modes for sports in ways I will use. Yes I would recommend this to a friend.

The only book available at the time
I usually buy a copy of "The Digital Field Guide" series from Wiley Press. But, for some reason very few publishers are printing books about the Canon 7D Mark II. I like to carry a printed book with me when I'm in the field, and this is the only one I found available. I also have the Canon printed manual, but at over 500 pages it is a bit cumbersome.

So So
I am not even sure how to describe this book. It is not an in depth study of the 7D Mark-II. But it does reference some of the 7D Mark-II settings. It goes into a lot of general photography but not in depth. It is an OK book but you will not learn to use the 7D Mark-II from this book.

I learned a lot about the camera and how to take better pictures with it
Well written, accurate when describing the camera's features, and very helpful advice sprinkled throughout. I learned a lot about the camera and how to take better pictures with it.

Snapshots to Great Shots-Canon 7D Mark ll
I always enjoy the Snapshots to Great Shots books and own several. This one does not disappoint. When the Canon 7D Mark ll hit the market it was a while before I could find a book. This was one of my firsts.

but it is easy to read and I've learned a lot
Haven't gotten through the whole thing yet, but it is easy to read and I've learned a lot. Much different than the owner's manual!

Senza infamia e senza lode
Un libro che aggiunge qualcosa, ma non molto, al manuale di utente, che di per sé occupa più di 500 pagine. Lettura piacevole per chi, come me, conosce bene l'inglese, ma se ne può benissimo fare a meno.

Very helpful.
This was more helpful than the photography course I paid for. I went along to learn how to use my camera but learned more from this book as the author understood my camera instead of using broad brush strokes to cover all cameras.
