I would buy again this fits my Garmin 496 .

This battery arrived fully charged and snapped into my old Garmin GPSMap 396, which had a dead battery. The GPS is working as expected with the new battery, and it's accepting a charge as expected.

Good battery. It fit my old Garmin 296 and has a couple hour battery life, which is what I’d expect for a device like this.

In our cost sensitive world it is nice to find good cost with good value. I have been unable to complete a full test but it is performing equal to stock and may actually be better! Time will tell but after a couple weeks it works as hoped.

When placed in my Garmin GPSMAP 396 it indicated it was already charged but was dead, no idea. I placed it in a 296 to validate that it was not my unit, same scenario, was dead, although indicated was charged. I have no idea what is occuring, but between two units I must have received a defect. Understand, I've also experienced issues with OEM, luck of the draw I believe, like life.

Worked as described. Fit perfectly. I read where some were loose fitting from other vendors, this was not one of those vendors. Very pleased..

never had a chance to use battery - does not fit the Garmin Zumo 396… Update - and now reading the subject line it never would have … geez … lesson learned … select the right part first and reach out to the vendor to confirm before purchasing. i reached out to vendor for return / replacement and have update the review . Great service- definitely recommend the vendor.
