This is a gentle scrub that is mildly exfoliating. It seems to work quite well for my dry, sensitive skin as long as I don't over-use it The description mentions that it is suitable for any skin type even though it was designed for those with oily, irritated or acne-prone skin. I don't use facial scrubs very often as they are often too harsh on my skin, but I do like to use a clarifying cream once a week or so. I like some of the other skin care products from this brand and my skin is frequently irritated from some of the overly rich products I use to try to help with my excessively dry skin. So, I thought I would give this a try...It is a light-weight white cream that has a light minty fragrance which is fresh and pleasant + it doesn't seem to linger too long. It breaks down into a thin, non-sudsing wash on contact with water and it cleans thoroughly without drying out my skin even more. The microbes are tiny and smooth and are not at all rough on my skin. The scrub rinses away completely and leaves my skin smooth with no oily feeling. I have experienced no irritation using this scrub/wash.As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate that the full list of ingredients are shown in the product description. This scrub does have a few ingredients, including micro plastics that I consider iffy. I will use this up but I likely would not buy it once it is gone. The scrub is a bit pricey, but I only need to use a small amount -- about half of a dime-sized dollop per application and I use it about once a week so it will likely last quite a while. The scrub is housed in a tube which is convenient to use and I don't waste any of the product. It arrived with no box but it was properly sealed.

I have been using this product for many years. In the beginning I purchased from my esthetician, now I'm happy to find it on Amazon. I use this in the shower about once a week. My skin glows, and it gently attacks blackheads too.I moisturize afterwards. You won't be disappointed!

Wilma Schumann is a highly recommended product by professionals everywhere. Don't waste your money on any other brand! I love their whole line. It really works. Proactive isn't even as good!

This is an exfoliating face scrub that does a fairly good job at cleaning the pores. It is not as gentle as I expected though. Would recommend for oily skin.

I was excited to try this Wilma Schumann gentle skin scrub. It did give my face a deep clean but it also left my face red and irritated. I rinsed my face multiple times and still had the wax beads stuck to my skin. I also did not care for the smell. It’s hard to describe but it has a medicinal scent. I prefer my beauty products to feel more luxurious and spa like. This felt like a harsh treatment to me.

I do like this Gentle Skin Scrub from WILMA SCHUMANN, even if I wouldn't describe it as "gentle". It definitely has a sandpaper grit feel to it, which I actually like and probably expect with an exfoliator. It also doesn't seem to unclog pores, so if you have big pores like me, don't expect that.Ultimately, for me, the current list price of $33 is way too much for me to ever consider adding this to my skin routine.
