Works great. We use these in school for all of our surface mount work.

Good soldering station
Works well and the temperatures seem accurate. Soldered several pcbs without issue. Heats up quickly. Only issue is that I was using it in a tight space and the cord to the iron, while heat resistant, does get in the way sometimes.Overall, next time I might try one of the cordless irons, but if you need a solid, reliable iron that heats up quickly, then I’d recommend this one.

Nice, compact soldering station
Bought this to replace the Xytronics 379C which finally gave up after 14 years of reliable service. I had a number of tips for the 379C, so I was glad to find this unit could make use of all the tips. The digital display is a nice upgrade and it regulates temperature just as well as the 379C if not better. I have already put this through its paces, 8 hours a day for the last 4 days and so far, so good.
