Garosa 3KW Mini Electric Tankless Warm Water Heater with LCD Display for Home Kitchen Washing US Plug 110V, Only Make Water Warm, WON'T Very Hot, Need 32Amps Circuit Breaker

I bought this at the beginning of a room remodel 40 days ago and there just now getting to putting it up. Doesn't work and too late to get my money back.

Working on a project to convert my cargo van to a camper van. Looking for a hot water solution and thought this unit would work based on reviews. Didn't realize when I bought it that it was shipping from China. No problem as I'm use to longer lead times, but was very suprised when it was deliveered in a few weeks. Shipping experience I would give this a 5 start. Installed the unit and that is when everything went bad. Really bad. Got it running and followed the instructions (instructions were poorly localized, although exceptable 5 years ago with stuff coming straight from China, but now I'd expect it to be perfect), but the water would never heat to temperature. Then the power surge would get so high that it would cause my inverter to trip. So took it out and tried to return it. Was surprised that they would accept my return (not uncommon for Chinese orders to not accept returns) but shipping had to be prepaid. Went to the local USPS office and was told it would cost almost $50 to ship it. That was more then what I paid for it. Very disappointed. So, it's not like I'm out a lot of money and am pretty satisfied with the shipping but the product didn't work and the return policy was terrible. Unless you are a very confident plumber or electrician, stay away from this unit. Better to spend the extra money to buy something domestically with phone support and a proper return policy.

The product is perfect for LOW GPM.Used to replace old messed up camper water heater. Will heat very well with a low GPM. Turned the head half off so it's like a gentle rain and I Achieved 60+ Celsius heat.Has some small issues but it's right for the price.Buy some Teflon tape for joining it to your pex or pvc or metal piping.

I cannot speak more highly of this unit.I had bought another (eco smart 3.5) the was abysmal! Plugged it in, and wouldn't even power up. Customer service was even worse.Got this one, cheaper, plugged into the same outlet, and I had hot water for the first time in years... just beautiful!

It heats the water quickly. The picture in the ad implied a continuous digital read out, but it only shows temperature (centigrade only) when the water is flowing through the unit. Also, no adjustable temperature control (not mentioned in the ad). In fact, very little description of the units functions or lack thereof in the installations paperwork in the box or online. (I was looking for maybe a hidden button or a touchpad on the readout to convert to Fahrenheit.) Cold water in, hot water out, no mention if there is a function to control the unit to maintain a maximum temperature and then turn off to save electricity. I’m pretty sure there is there’s just nothing in the paperwork that says so. Also no extra fittings provided to help reduce trips to the hardware store. It’s made in China and sells for around $85. I guess you get what you pay for.

I think I bought the wrong one for my RV. And of course by the time I got back online to return it. It had expired two days before. So I really don't have anything good or bad to say.

The heater took a little long too arrive,hooked it up according to instructions,the heater would not make hot water got permission to return ,but it would cost me $60 to return almost the amount it cost so i got screwed out $74.I never thought amazon would treat me this way so I probably won't be buying from Amazon.This is a cheap Chinese piece of crap.I feel so disappointed in Amazon.

If you read the controls, the major issue with this is the temperature control. Some complain it's too hot, some complain it's too cold. The thing is that there is no control. When you start the flow the water is cold, then it heats up. If you are running a small volume, it will get scolding hot. If you run a high volume, it will be lukewarm. As it stands, it's not usable until I figure out how to overcome this issue.
