I needed to replace a power adapter for a Christmas tree that I really liked and didn't want to throw away; and found that finding the right adapter was quite challenging! For one thing - like a dummy I wasn't paying attention to the fact that I needed and AC to AC adapter, and I almost ordered the wrong kind by getting an AC to DC adapter. That would have been a BIG MISTAKE!! I looked all over the web, and it turned out it was right under my nose the whole time at Amazon. I just needed to plug in the proper search data. You might have to search for a video that explains how to determine if the end plug is the right diameter, and I used the ball point pen method to see what size I needed. Thankfully this was the right size, and I couldn't wait to plug it into the tree to see if anything went up in smoke - but it worked great! I was so happy I left the tree up WAY past the holiday, and just put it up last week. LOL!! Hope anyone looking for these has the same success! Oh - and BTW the seller sent it so fast it came just two days after I ordered it. Amazon is FAST!

I bought this to replace the power adapter for my plasma globe that my young Dalmatian chewed to pieces. It works fantastic and was a good deal for the price. I highly recommend this product. Before you order one of these, be sure to check the output on the transformer for the correct voltage and polarity. Some adapters are AC to DC! Some are AC to AC! This one is AC TO AC and works great for my needs. Failure to check the proper output you need could result in damaging your electronics. All in all this a very good product.

It's really hard to find AC to AC Walmart wall wart power supplies most of them are AC to DC but this is just what My project required.

I used this to replace a weak headphone power supply that came with an X-Can that I own. Much better having the extra wattage.

Bought two of these to replace the hot running and now dead original wallwarts that came with a pair of fiber optic Christmas trees. I also replaced the 10Watt halogen bulbs with LED equivalents which are brighter and longer life. Made everything run cooler.

I had purchased what was describe as a 12AC adaptor from another vendor on Amazon. When I got that adaptor, it was AC to 12DC adaptor with the wrong connection. Several contacts with the vendor did not get me the right adaptor. I ordered this adaptor making sure that the output listed in the specifications was correct. I was very glad to see that it was 12AC output. I was concerned when I found that the connector would not go into my memory frame just as the previous one would not even with the adaptor they sent with it. I called Jameco, and very soon after calling, I was called back and when I told them it would not plug into the memory frame, I was told I needed an adaptor and that they would send one right out. The adaptor they sent was exactly what I needed. Fast and accurate customer service for their product.
