Very difficult to flatten out.

We purchased this as we needed some wooden background effects for some of our product photography and chose these due to the reviews and price.Overall, we are very happy with the product, however it is worth noting the backdrop come rolled up - as you would expect with an item this size. This can create challenges when trying to lay out flat, especially when you are likely to roll back up after use. We got around this by either weighing down the corners, laying over a narrow table (so edges wrap underneath) or rolling in the opposite direction to straighten out. Not something to knock the overall score but worth noting.

Not sure why the reviews for this are so negative. This wood effect background is great and I'm really happy with the results. I took this picture on my phone. It comes rolled up and will take a few days to flatten out, we unrolled it and stuck it under a heavy rug for 2 days. Was still a little curly but good enough. DO NOT IRON! I tried flattening it out with my iron but it went all crinkley and sticky, luckily I was able to cut off the end. Great product and is priced the same as others on eBay. Definitely recommend.

Too hard for what I needed it for.

It's just 2 ply card, it certainly isn't waterproof and absolutely CAN be folded, I rolled it the other way to straighten it out as per instructions and it ended up with little creases on it, the image isn't as sharp as it looks in the picture either, not worth the money.

Brought this for my photography work,very useful,would purchase from again in the future

This is a nicely printed background that looks like real wood in photographs. My onlly niggle is that even after a week of it being pressed between heavy books etc, it still sprang back into the rolled position. It takes a bit of wrangling and weighing down to use it, so I mostly don't.
