Work great to extend the display of CR-10.

When I did the relocation of the power supply and motherboard that is located in the bottom of the Ender 5 Pro. When locating that box to the rear you need these if you want your monitor anywhere close to useable. Just note that you'll need to wrap the long cable run in tin foil or something else to shield it because if you don't your screen will keep going whacky and unusable with crazy symbols and nothing readable. This is due to the EMI that this new longer cable needs some shielding from. So just as long as you know that its perfect

Worked flawlessly for extending the distance between the lcd display and the main board in my creality ender 5. I relocated the electronics enclosure to the rear of the machine and this cable did the trick with around 8 inches to spare. Well built and even replicates the cable alternating cable approach direction relative to the key on each end just like the factory cable. Only way it would be better is if it was sold in a quantity of one for half the price.

I installed this on my Creality Ender 5 because the printer is located in a corner of my workbench that is partially obstructed by a storage shelf and the outer wall. This cable allowed me to move the control head display all the way around the front left of the printer so I can easily reach to adjust settings or start/stop prints. I also printed a box to mount the control head so it sits on my workbench without being concerned that it might get shorted out. Note that this cable is not shielded and was getting some electromagnetic interference from the Ender and another 3d printer located next to the extended control head which causes the control head button to randomly click. This problem is especially worse when current is passed through to heat up the hotend or bed. I wrapped this ribbon cable with aluminum foil to help solve the clicking issue by blocking the EMI as suggested on an online forum. This happened also on the very short factory cable so it's not a fault of this cable but rather poor grounding and/or shielding on behalf of Creality.

It was as it said. A bit expensive for what it is. Ended up removing the connector and reattaching further up the wires as it was long.

I bought a set of these a ramps 1.4 project using a reprapdiscount smart controller 2004 LCD. Very happy with how well these work! Easily stretches from the front to the back of a Da Vinci Jr with a bit of extra for maneuverability.

Item was fair priced and shipped quickly. It was just the wrong cable for my 3D printer.
