I bought this fan so that i could cool of the wireless adapter for the htc vive because it kept overheating. Well, not anymore! If you're looking to fix your adaptive fire hazard this micro fan is for you! It's the perfect size for you to slap it right over the exhaust on the adapter. Just plug the usb in at the top of the headset and you're good to go. Although you might want to buy a battery with a longer lifespan because the fan will take quite a bit of power, so keep that in mind. As for noise level, it's pretty quiet. With the headphones over my ears i can bearly hear them but a low hum. Which can be solved by turing up the In-game volume up a little bit.

Ordered to help take hot air away out the back of the wooden cabinet I have my PS4 in. Arrived packaged in a jiffy bag and well protected.Easy to set up and plugged directly into the USB slot on my PS4. This does seem to work effectively as I can feel warm air coming from the back of the cabinet, my PS4 is cooler to touch, the inside of the cabinet isn't as warm, and the PS4 does not engage it's internal fan as loudly.Only issue is that the fan itself is quite loud considering its small size as it vibrates off the TV cabinet. I ended up suspending it front of the cable hole at the back of the cabinet with some tape to avoid it touching the wood - this made the fan quieter, and is impossible to hear unless you have the TV volume turned down low. Not sure if using the screw holes to fix directly to the cabinet would kill the noise, although I bought this fan to be a less invasive fix for my heat issues and did not want to drill into my cabinet.I would say that having this fan engaged is probably around 40-50% quieter than my PS4 was before as some games seem to make the console run hot - and being in an enclosed cabinet the hot air sits around meaning the PS4 fan gets louder and louder. When you're playing less demanding games (Fifa) you can just unplug the USB from the front of the console and the fan won't be powered.All in all I'd say this was a worthwhile purchase as it has stopped my PS4 sounding like a jet engine when playing certain games. Despite the fan itself generating more noise than I was expecting, it's still quieter than when my PS4 fan kicked in - plus it's worthwhile for the peace of mind that the console isn't going to reset itself due to overheating.For people who have a set up like mine with an enclosed cabinet that only has a cable hole at the back, I am yet to find a simpler, more cost effective method without requiring you drilling holes in the back of the cabinet - just a shame that the fan generates a little more noise than I was expecting.

This fan is not like other cheap fans. It won't be louder and squeeky after a few hours of use. I recommend it. I hope the price won't go up.

As others have said, this is a noisy fan. Not rattly, it's the sound of air flow but still irritating.

Bought the fan as a replacement for my ender 3 printer motherboard fan which became very noisy.Easy to fit and low noise level.

Bought this fan as it was dual ball bearing and of good quality. Wired it onto my hotend and it ran for the first 5 minutes and stopped working. Thankfully I caught this as it could of triggered a thermal runaway. Couldn't get the fan to run again, put back my old fan and it still ran so nothing wrong with the printer just the fan. Have sent it back.

Needed a small mountable cooling fan for a project and stumbled across these in my search. Bought one and liked it some much a bought a few more to have in my supply drawer for other projects. They're quiet and push a good amount of air for their size. Motor bearings seem to be good as I've used a few of these with no issues so far. They just work and work well. Good part, highly recommend.

Ich habe den Lüfter in einen kleinen Schaltschrank eingebaut in welchen ein Solar-Wechselrichter eingebaut ist. Ich betreibe den 24V-Lüfter mit der PV-Spannung also ca. 20V. Der Lüfter ist so leise, aber trotzdem effektiv.

However, I ended up not using it because the plug was too large for my application. I was attempting to use it with a NOISY Raspberry Pi 4B addon fan that was just too noisy.
