I have never used these before, and was recommenced to help with the sound and keep moisture out of the back of speaker. Very happy with the quality and easy for me to install.

i have a huge trunk camry. i previously installed some rockford fosgate and i was not impressed. quite disappointed in fact. but the baffles made them very impressive! they are kind of big for a 6x9 hole and they are stiff enough that they won't squish down into one. i had to make a wood frame and clamp them up from the underside. i was quite surprised at the bass response with the small air volume. they add "speaker in a bucket" resonance even with kilmat and stuffing. i could not equalize it out completely but it sounds reasonably good. i wondered if these would make a difference. i knew the air space would be small. my mind is blown! i did not expect it to be anywhere near this good!

No good. Not even fit to the car

These don't work like you'd expect. I tried using them on the rear deck woofers. I will try cutting a port hole in them to get controlled bass response. If that doesn't work I'll toss them out.

Make sure you measure your vehicle before ordering these. They are huge and will NOT fit dodge ram trucks. I am sure they are a good product I am just going to put them in my cavalier so they dont go to waste.

It is true your low frequency response will drop with these. That’s because instead of using the door/trunk as your “enclosure”, the volume is limited to barely larger than your 6x9. However, I like to use them in door installations by cutting them to protect the speakers from water that may come into the door from the window seal.
