Excellent Belt
My husband loves this brand - real leather, well-constructed, the correct number of holes and wide just like he likes it. Thanks for a great product.

RUNS SMALL
Five stars for shear quality. I've made belts myself. It's as heavy and bulletproof of a belt as you can get. However, I am pretty bummed, the belt is maxed out at the size I ordered so in other words I'm on the last hole. I guess their junk runs small, not a reason enough to take off a star but I wished I'd ordered 4 sizes larger than my pants so it didn't appear I've maxed out the belt it just looks funky to my eye. I am reviewing STRICTLY the quality of the product not shipping company, amazon, or design concept.

Perfect Basic Belt
This is the perfect no-nonsense belt. It's about as wide as it can be (which translates to sturdier) and still fit through belt loops. It's thin enough that I can clip my tape measure to it, but thick enough that it can handle the weight of said tape measure. The company was great with shipping communications. I ordered the wrong size and they were also exceptional about the return/exchange. Great communication during the process. For sizing, I wear pants with a 31 or 32 inch waist, and the belt size 32 would only buckle on the last belt hole. Belt size 34 buckles on the fourth hole. I feel like this belt will last a long time.

Decent but not a Hank’s
I enjoy fine leather products and own several high end belts from some of the big-name makers, such as Hanks, Thirteen50, several makers of carry belts, as well as a number of boutique leather craft shops. I’ve been seeing this Main Street Forge pop up in my Amazon feed for a while and at 29.99 on sale I thought I’d give their everyday belt a try. I received it Friday and have worn it 2 10 hour shifts at work so far. The below are my initial thoughts. It’s thin. It’s lightweight. It’s very flexible. It will collapse on itself and certainly not hold itself up when buckled and held straight. This is a VERY light duty belt and I would not think of using it as a carry belt or for anything of weight. It is telling that the maker doesn’t list the leather weight in the description. For you leather rookies, 1 ounce of leather weight is roughly 1/64” in thickness. This MIGHT be 10 oz leather, which is pretty light/thin in the nice belt world. But, I just needed something for work that I wasn’t worried about messing up. I have a very physical job and am outside in the elements, sweating and getting rained on, greasy and dirty. I do not want to wear any of my more expensive belts in those conditions. I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt them, but kind of like running that brand new car through a gas station car wash, know what I mean?It works for that. It seems a decent quality, well-built belt. After only 2 shifts I already have a tiny bit of stretch in the hole I’m using, and I think it will stretch more being so thin, but I expect this belt will last me a couple years and for $30 bucks that’s ok. I will say the black roller buckle impressed me and seems to be of excellent quality, almost out of place on this belt.If you just need a belt to keep your britches up, and nothing else, this will probably work for you for a few years. I don’t see this being a 20 year belt. And please, if you’re belt shopping for a very nice leather belt and considering some of the brands I mentioned above, don’t even bother comparing this one to them. It’s a decent belt, but not a competitor. 2 different ballparks. This is a decent belt that is certainly better than a big box store belt, but nowhere near some of the other big name leathercraft companies. It may be a good first-dive into the real leather world, but just know that it gets a lot better. Expect a 3 star belt and you’ll be pleased. Expect a Hanks or other high quality belt and you’ll be unhappy. If you’ve never had a quality full grain leather belt at all, you’ll love it.My wife loves the free sticker that came with it (which sucks for me because I liked it too lol) and the Main Street forge key chain I ordered separately as well, which I will leave it’s own 5 star review and I will probably use the $5 off coupon they included on another product, perhaps one of their more expensive, thicker offerings. In summary, it’s a decent belt for what it is, but don’t fool yourself into believing it’s a high-end belt.

Great Belt - Runs a Bit Small
I received my new belt yesterday. So this is my initial review.Looks and feels substantial and well-made. I like the way it feels. Seems very strong and built to last as advertised. My ONLY complaint out the gate is that the belt seems to run slightly small. It is suggested to order 2 sizes above your size. I would go more.I wear a size 36 waist jean pants. I ordered the size 40 belt. I wish I had gone at least to size 42 MAYBE 44, but 44 might of been slightly too big.The size 40 I have "works", but feels just a bit tight without much belt to work with. I plan on keeping it, not sure if the leather will relax enough to fit comfortably snug. At this point I don't really want to go through the hassle of returning and exchanging for a bigger size. Depending on the week goes, I might go 1 size higher, to 42.I don't leave reviews often. I want to support USA small businesses though. Especially, when they are selling a quality product like this leather belt. I have no disappointments about the quality of this belt and will buy again, or try a different style from this company. If you're looking for a sturdy quality leather belt, I think you will be satisfied with this company.

Everything’s under control. Situation normal.
Very well made belt. Thick leather that looks like it will last my life time. Only problem is the screws to get the buckle off the belt. They are on tight. I may have to use tools that may scratch the leather. I have a copper buckle that I want to put on this belt. Not worth taking a star, because it’s a personal decisions; to remove and replace the buckle. I just thought people might want to know it’s not simple to remove the buckle. I plan on making my own leather belts and this belt shows me the game I need to have to provide a quality belt. It also lets me know that I shouldn’t tighten my screws that hold my buckle in place super tight. I will include a little blue lock tight and instructions on how to apply and tighten the screws after the new buckle gets put in place. If you don’t plan on changing the buckle, this is a great, well made, heirloom quality belt.

My new favorite belt
Had an older brown leather belt for years and was starting to wear out. Had a hard time finding a similar looking replacement. Was reluctant to replace it but very happy with this one. Comfortable from the start.

Truly genuine leather
Just a couple thoughts about my purchase of your belt. It gave me exactly what I wanted, solid leather through construction, a buckle that doesn’t bind or bend when used alit. I bought this belt a few months ago and wanted to wait until I felt I gave it a workout, I have and I am very delighted with how well it has held up and still looks great. 100% sure if yiu want quality this is the place to get it.

Nice leather. Not so great buckle.
Purchased this belt about 4 months ago. Initially loved it. Been wearing daily for about 4 months. Leather has held up well but the buckle is aging much more prematurely than I would have expected.
