Great book but...
I think this is a great book and definitely recommend it, but there is an issue that really diminished my belief in it a little. In this book, the author states that an author named Walter Lord wrote about the Titanic 14 years BEFORE the sinking of the Titanic with amazing similarities in a book called A Night to Remember. I kind of got goosebumps thinking about it until I looked up the book - it was written in 1955, 43 years AFTER the sinking of the Titanic - what a let down, that would have been cool and would have made a great point he was trying to make in that chapter, but since that book was written long after the Titanic's sinking, it really doesn't do anything. Still, overall this is a great book.

A replay of the two earlier versions
I've read Spiritual marketing. I also read the first version of The Attractor Factor - but I'd borrowed it from the library. So, since the first two versions "worked" at least enough for me to feel flush enough to purchase this version I figured, it would be good to have in my library. There is not much new in this version, I'm not a fan of the quiz in the beginning telling me where to start but I did like the addition of space to write in the book -- in essence - forcing me to complete the exercises. This time around I think I really grasped more of the message that Vitale is trying to pass on and feel more at peace with my own complicity in my life's situations. My life is fine, but sure, I'm expecting more prosperity, but I'm not desperate for it like I have been in the past. I think that is the essence of the book. Reading it alone won't get you there, it's a mindset.I can also clearly see the hypnotic writing which Vitale is famous for at play in the book. I see why people would buy his book/s and run out to buy the next, sign up for his trainings or his coaching programs --it's woven into every nook and cranny of the book. Is that a bad thing? No! I don't think it's covert, I think it's right out in the open. The bottom line is -- if you're ready to do the WORK, take ACTION and make steps toward your perfect life - this book is full of practical ways to do that, with some good points to ponder as well. If, on the other hand you're looking for a quick fix or a guarantee change in your life after reading it -- get real. Fix yourself and your thinking, and the approach the book with a beginner's mind and do the exercises. It will help!Peggie Arvidson[...]

This Version Is So Much Better!
I read the original "The Attractor Factor" and laughed and groaned my way through it. It was littered with typos and grammatical errors (this guys thinks he can write?) and he never addressed the fact that you have to do something other than wish to get what you want. This version, however, has apparently been edited (thank goodness), and Vitale does emphasize the fact that you have to, in whatever way seems "right" or appropriate, take action.I took a huge personal hit, both medically and financially, about three years ago, and now realize it was because I was so desperate to separate myself from my ex that I pushed so hard for that separation that I herniated discs in my back and (no joke) gave up a large chunk of monthly income ... just to get the guy out of my life. I'd attracted what I wanted: Complete and utter separation to the point where I've been housebound and broke. In this book, Vitale emphasizes that pushing and desperation are counterproductive and just easily working on attracting what you want works better. He's so right.I'm not a big Joe Vitale fan, but this book is a quick and easy read and put me back on track. Good things are starting to come back into my life. "Little miracles." So skeptic that I was and am, I know this whole concept works. If you're going to get a book on attracting/manifesting, I suggest either this one or one of the great ones by Robert Anthony.

A worthy read!
Being a student of the Law of Attraction I found a lot of it to be just review for me. However I will definitely say that it had a big effect on me for 2 reasons.1. At the end of the book he gives a 30 day challange which I am now trying and I already see that this is a very powerful tool that may stick with me for the rest of my life! So that right there says a lot. Briefly he teaches Intention Meditation and tells you to do it once a day for 30 days focusing on something you want to attract into your life within that time frame.2. He hammered home to me the concept of Inspired Action, which I've read about before but now I think I understand it much better and am finally practising it. Especially because he ties it in nicely with the 30 day Experiment. In summery, although most of the book was a review for me, in the last chapter I got zapped with a lightning bolt of insight. So for me it was well worth it. It doesn't hurt to review anyway.

obnoxious
I was onboard until this guy talks in the last pages about his wife being molested by his mentor and how he’s now at peace with it and implying that she somehow attracted this assault. Ummmm, wow. Too much problematic nonsense to unpack there so I’m just going to say no thank you.

A must seriously
This book will give you a big sense of clarity. Not only that but it's very powerful if applied correctly. I will say this. Read the book and then read it again. Trust me on this. You'd be dumb not to have this one

Good for Beginner Students on the 'Law of Attraction'
Joe Vitale has done a good job and laying out how the 'Law of Attraction' works. He quotes a lot of other author's work and I personally find Bob Proctor the best teacher about this particular subject. Joe talks about his personal experience and is very honest about what works and doesn't. I gave this 4 stars, because it is a good first read for anyone wanting to take their first steps.

A good read
The only think I think Joe really misses out of his books is the fact that (outside him constantly trying to sell you his other books and work) that the only way you can move forward, is actually to work on your negative issues first so that you are actually free of them to be able to concentrate on the positive. Once you can master the 'how' to do this - which incidentally he never mentions the how in any of his books - you can then go on to achieve great things, and it is all achevable.

Great Book Easy to Read and Follow
I love this book, I read it when I was ready to make changes in my life and I truly love it. It was a joy to read with real life examples that I could connect with. I felt like I wasn't on my own trying to make a better life for myself and I felt empowered by the book. I worked through all the exercises and I felt lighter and better for it. It help me see that for a long time I was stopping myself with my own belief system from getting what I want and it inspired me to make some big positive changes in my life. If your ready to live the life you deserve and have and do all the wonderful things you dream about this will help you take the steps to make those dreams reality. It isn't a magic wand and it does involve action and effort but I feel empowered and inspired and I find all sorts of ways to find good in all situations thank you so much Joe Vitale!!
