Plasti Dip Performix 11247-6 Bright Aluminum Metalizer - 11 oz.

This is my first time Plasti-dipping. I am very satisfied with this metallizer. I only needed one can for two 20 inch wheels. I sprayed 5 coats for each wheel. I waited 10 minutes between coats. I also sprayed heavier coats. I was too lazy to really prep my wheels so there are some nicks from before, but the silver really helps mask imperfections. Next step is the glossifier. Make sure you wear a filtered mask. The smell is super strong. I recommend this product.

I used this product to paint the wheels on my e46 BMW 330Ci.My wheels are the M-Sport 17" and are really tricky to clean and paint. The wheels had bad paint, with paint peeling/peeled. The structure was OK, not too bad. Some curb rash.I bought 2 cans of the regular Black dip and two cans of the Bright Aluminum Metalizer against what everyone else was saying and what was recommended.I did 1x Light coat and 3x Full coats of Black. I still had some Black dip left. 15 minute downtime between coats. Then I proceeded to do the Metalizer which I did 1x Medium at the beginning and 2x Full coats. This was more than enough in my opinion and I still got more than 50% in 1 can left. The coverage of this product is absolutely amazing and is easy to put on unlike the black.If you want your wheels great again, this is a great and cheap way for them to look good without spending hundreds.

The product didn't even last 24 hours and it just flew into pieces when I removed it from my tire. It's garbage. Don't buy it.

Used aluminizer freshening up all the soft silver trim on the exterior of my wife's Land Rover which dulled and chipped surprisingly early. Looks better than new...seriously. Much brighter and cleaner looking than original crappy paint. Not to mention it is now much more durable and protected.

Previous owner had some bad curb rash on all 4 wheels.Wanted to make them look better for cheap so I went ahead and plastidipped them.Had them black for a month now and got tired of it so I decided to use the metalizer it looks really good.I only used 1 can but ordered 2 just in case.No glossifier yet but will post when it’s added.

Great color, works perfect when it is at a higher temperature and have to shake it constantly. Does not work too good on cold surfaces and before putting it up make sure you spray it upside down until almost nothing sprays out, this way it will not clog up the nozzle.
