It wrinkles very easily and doesnt shrink much with heat applied. It blocks a noticable amount of heat but i dont trust its durability due to air bubbles and wrinkles.

The opacity is VERY efficient with the mirror effect once the inside is darker than the outside.

First and foremost I'm an idiot because I thought I was buying static cling film and not a sticky tint-type film. These two products appear one on top of the other in the Rabitgoo store and the text made me think I was choosing the cling-type. My fault for not recognizing they were different. I went with this brand specifically because I'd used some of their other film and it's been absolutely perfect for over 5 years. 3 stars overall because this stuff is kind of a nightmare to deal with but looks great if you can get it right. I wanted to cover storm door glass to fend off the afternoon sun. After cleaning the glass twice and liberally spraying the film and window with water I carefully applied the film to the bottom half of the door. The biggest bubbles were easily worked out with a squeegee and credit card but almost immediately I realized something seemed wrong with some of the tiny bubbles. They had white rings around the edges and wouldn't move like the water bubbles did. Hoping for the best I thought the heat might help these bubbles come out so gave it a day and tried again to work them out, but no luck. Half the glass looked absolutely perfect but the other half was plagued with these bubbles. From inside they weren't all that horrible, but when looking at the mirrored side from outside it looked like a disaster. Unfortunately this is not a peel and restick product and I hadn't ordered enough to redo the bottom and finish the top so I ultimately ended up peeling the bottom off and going with a totally different product. I'm not happy about wasting money but I don't think it was the product that was at fault. If I had enough product I definitely would have tried again but didn't want to sink more money into something I couldn't be sure would work.

This silver film provided just the right amount of coverage that I needed for privacy while still being able to see clearly outside. The only problem is that I couldn’t remove the bubbles or creases that formed, no matter how hard I tried; even after using a straight edge ruler, level, and towel to smooth them out. Also, one roll only provided enough coverage for one half of the window pictured here.

I love this product. It does exactly what the description says. It blocks the light from coming in. Keeping My room dark as I like it during the day.

We live in a first floor apartment, with a big 3 panel patio sliding door. There are a LOT of kids in this apartment complex, and they are very nosy. They used to constantly look in our patio windows, watch our tv while it was playing, and ring the bell asking for whatever snack they could see on our counter. We decided to order x3 of these films, and they have made such a big difference for us! Definitely needs 2 people to apply them, but really not so hard, just be patient. Now no one can see into our apartment (unless it’s night time, in which we close the curtains; or if you press your face to the glass you can see in, but that’s it!) As an added bonus, now the birds can’t see our cats in the window and will come right up to the windows, lol! The cats are having a great time birdwatching. These films do give a slight tint, but you get used to it. It makes outside look a little gloomy, but it has made our living room cooler! Sun still comes in, but it’s not so intense. Once the films are in place and cured, they aren’t going anywhere! We have a suction cup cat canopy on the window, and it has no problem staying attached to the films. If you are considering buying these for problems like ours, get them!!!

Instructions are simple but thorough. Installation is easy as long as you do as instructed. Looks great as long as you clean the window as instructed.

I gave this a 4 star cause it does provide the coverage I wanted but It was very hard and frustrating to separate the clear film from the frosted paper. I finally got a small exacto knife and cut the film side a little bit by the corner. Saved me some time.

Rabbitgoo 60 x 200 cm “One Way” window film. It does what I needed. It was OK to put up, if one is careful, otherwise it might be a nightmare.The privacy only works for those inside if the peeper outside has brighter light than in the room and then they only see a reflection, this is usual during the day, but the reverse at night! So draw the blinds at night.It reduces radiant heat input very significantly. This is why I bought it, and it works much better than the so-called e-coating on the glass (I paid for it, but is there any? Is this a common double-glazing con?) However, it is not as good as a proper dichroic film.I needed to reduce the insolation through our glass doors, and while I bought these rolls a year ago I only applied them last week. It has made a big difference! Before film, inside floor temperature in the sun  measured  at 36°C, compared with the shaded part at 24°C. Later, when it had all cooled down again, I installed the film. Next day at the same time the bright part of the floor was 28°C and the shaded part 25°C. The step outside was 45°C.How it might be done if you are as OCD as me.1. Clean the glass and the surrounds very carefully, removing all contaminants, especially traces of Windowlene or Flash, etc.2. Check the scalpel/craft knife is very sharp.3. Fill a clean spray bottle with water and a drop of Fairy liquid to work as a wetting agent. Use this solution and a clean old soft J-cloth for a final clean of the surface.4. Move the Clear Film sticky tab to the side at the top, this will make peeling it off later much easier.5. Stick some generous tabs of  Sellotape  on the film across the top, one each corner and one (or two) in the middle depending on how wide. This is so the film can be given a first position hanging in place from the frame by the sellotape; now it is easy to adjust and trim as necessary to make sure it covers all the glass with a small margin of about a centimetre at the sides, and maybe a bit more top and bottom.6. Spray the glass generously, so it’s running with water.7. Carefully begin peeling down the clear film from the sticky back of the silver film, keeping it all away from the glass. An assistant can help here, because now is also a good time to spray the back of the silver film, but it is possible for one person with a narrower glass.8. About halfway through peeling, check the centre of the silver film is hanging true, and now is a good time to begin helping it to stick, but only with a light brush down the wetted centre, simply to control it.9. Remove the rest of the clear film, paying attention to the centre and hanging true, and covering all the glass.10. If it is in the correct position, only now begin to gently work the water out to the edges, radially from the centre, initially using another soft cloth. Use a squeegee only when the film is secure and wrinkle free, and always work towards the edges from the centre.11. Once the film is stable, sellotape removed, most of the water excluded, and the edges are well worked into the corners and glazing seal, then trim it with the craft knife. Try and do it with a single firm pass along each edge (without damaging the rubber seal), paying attention to the corners which are guaranteed to try and mess things up.12. Finish off with the soft cloth, paying attention to the edges and seals.13. Do not overwork the film; this can introduce wrinkles because it is more likely to stretch after a good soak.14. Allow it to dry overnight, maybe a couple of days even, before succumbing to the temptation to tidy it up a bit more. measuredSellotape

Does as it says, really have to push the air out when applying but looks really great and I'm considering more for other windows. Still let's in most light but stops people seeing in.

Since installing the film everyone in the house has assumed we have been snowed in! Works a treat. On a serious note we bought this to stop the rescue dog from barking at anything and everything that walked passed and it has worked a treat!! easy to install.

Lo compré porque mis ventanas del salón recibían muchísimo sol y la sala se calentaba mucho.Es un poco puñetero para instalar, pero si llevas cuidado con que no se te pliegue (si lo hace, se queda una marca que no se puede quitar), limpias bien la ventana, y le das con spray con agua+jabón en la ventana, la zona a pegar del vinilo y después cuando lo has pegado, por el otro lado, se queda muy bien y cuesta menos. Si no, se te pueden hacer burbujas de aire que lo único que van a hacer es que tengas que despegar y volver a darle con el spray.Resultado: se ve algo más oscuro el salón, pero el no tener que gastar tanto aire acondicionado es un plus, se está más fresquito y se nota bastante la diferencia. Lo tengo también instalado en la cocina.Si tienes plantas, al tener ser filtro de UV puedo tenerlas pegadas a las ventanas y no se van a quemar por sol directo.IMPORTANTE: solo hace el efecto espejo cuando le da el sol y REFLECTA. Por la noche el que no ve fuera eres tú y desde la calle te pueden ver. Pero se baja el estor y apañado.

I have used various types of glass coverings before which go on with water. This was awful to fit, kept coming off and I only used it on an external glass door so wasn't doing large runs with this. It's a bit darker than I expected when on. Even using proper brand new squeezie etc there were lines like scratches appearing on the back of this, so very super easy to damage. Looks really nice outside and mirror effect is very good, but inside all we can see are the fine lines. I was going to buy more for a large modern glass window but I won't now and will just buy a vertical blind. Update: After a month on there's about 15 cms at bottom of the door which just won't stay on, even though we have cut up to a half a centimeter short from the door bottom. It keeps rolling up no matter how many times we wet it and put it on properly. Now taken off and blinds fitted. Waste of money for me.
