Great electrical cord with a vintage look
I turned an old surveyor's tripod into a floor lamp. I used the cord to keep the vintage look with and added a dimmer and the vintage incandescent bulbs. This cord did not disappoint. It stripped down fine and the wire is good.

Great quality and value
I recently disassembled and completely rewired a 1920’s Hamilton Beach milkshake blender. My wife got it from her parents and the wiring was a mess. I purchased this fabric covered wire for an authentic look. It was exactly what I needed to make the wiring safe and new looking. I soldered all the connections and used shrink tubing to assure good connections. The blender works like it was made yesterday. Very happy with the quality and price of this product!

Beautiful wire
I bought this to re-wire an old lamp whose wire was cracking. It arrived quickly, and I was impressed at how nice it looked - just like it does in the pictures. It is gold and shiny, and works perfectly with the lamp. I used only half of the length, which gave me plenty of length between the lamp and the plug.I wish I could find a thicker gauge of this kind of twisted wire to use on old electric fans. It's very handsome stuff.

Looks vintage in person
I've used it to rewire a couple of antique bridge lamps. It's a little bigger than standard zip cord but it fit inside of the hardware with no issues. The cloth seems pretty robust. I wasn't very careful with it but it didn't snag. The end result is a new cord that doesn't look out of place on an antique without spending a ton of money.

Quality wire.
I bought this cable for restoration of antique fans and lamps. It appears to be typical cloth covered twisted wire as I would expect. It is attractive but has a little more sheen than I prefer. Overall, this was a good purchase.

Antique look
Used for an antique chandelier rewire. Worked well, though it was hard to feed through tight places and frayed easily. Looks good once I could get it through. Had to cut off at least 8 inches of frayed line but there was plenty on role.

replacement for brass rails around leather inlay in mahogany executive desk
Not the conventional use of this product, but when untwisted to a single strand it fit perfectly in the trough for borders around the leather inlay of a mahogany executive desk. Replaced brass rails that were warping and the sharp edges cut my hands every time I wiped down the desktop. Perfect solution! Very attractive.

Really nice cord
I use this cord for my lamp projects. It lays down really nicely and is easy to cut, strip and terminate.
