Ends and Beginnings...
I will start my review at the end, in the Glossary, where Rabbi Bakstwrites that Kabbalah is not Jewish mysticism. He says that Kabbalah relates to theTorah (Bible) as the soul to the body. This relationship is the key, I believe, to thetitle of this "workbook," Beyond Kabbalah.. This end is looped into the beginning! The soul/body polarity is the model which is used to lead a dedicated student beyondreligion and secular studies into a highly fulfilling program of self-growth. The polaritymodel (named Hasadim/Gevurot in the text) comes in seven guises, Seven NaturalSciences, which provide new and powerful lenses through which the scriptures revealtheir deeper meanings. As far as I know, Rabbi Bakst's portrayal of the special interfacebetween modern sciences and scripture (Science and Kabbalah) is unique, even in agrowing field of those studying the relationship between science and spirituality. This interface, which he traces back to the revelation at Mt. Sinai, provides the seekerwith vessels and internal energies for a deeper understanding of the meaning of"consciousness," and for grasping of his or her own personal identity. However, the growth resulting from a study of Beyond Kabbalah is not without price. It requires effort preceded by what Rabbi Bakst calls "a preexisting desire simmering deepwithin your being." Otherwise he states, "This book is not for you." I am hopeful thathis warning will only add stimulation to that learner who will be very substantiallyrewarded for engaging Beyond Kabbalah.I am not Jewish. Yet, I appreciate that the application of Beyond Kabbalah extends toa wide variety of persons who are "willing to be challenged, stimulated, and pushed upto your very edge and then beyond." I have been especially delighted by the Universal(Body of Adam) nature of these methodologies and teachings, and have found that patiencewill indeed bring reward. I am a member of a Christian congregation, and have foundmany opportunities for using my Beyond Kabbalah experience for clarification and newinsights, benefiting, I believe, a number of people. I have learned that these communityactivities can be simply "fractal iterations"of root teachings which retain the Oneness andSource (Formula) recognition of Kabbalah and the Bible.Beyond Kabbalah is a lengthy book, some 418 pages. At first glance it may seem over-whelming. However, Rabbi Bakst's organization of the book is based on entry pointsthrough Four Doors: Mission, Maps, Methods, and Models. An entering student willprobably find one of these doors as his or her preferred entrance, howeverall four doors will be needed for entry into the gestalt, the Mind of Moses. Importantly, the internet allows a student to consider live or recorded classes, which are available at[...], to gain the advantage of Rabbi Bakst's personal teaching.I have been a beneficiary of Rabbi's Bakst's teachings, and have observed his preparationof this important workbook, or training manual. I can easily apply the 5-star rating, andlooping back to the beginning, reminding of the cautions and extraordinariness of thisthis Messianic volume...Postscript Questions: Do you "no longer find fulfillment in the external things that your eyesbeheld in the days of your youth..." and have a wish to "see your world in your lifetime?"Are you curious..? You may be the one..!

Modern Physics and Kabbalah - Two sides but one surface (Moebiusstrip)
The book Beyond Kabbalah is actually offering humans a way to overcome severe restrictions of our local space and time - still in this life here (a somewhat claustrophobic experience). This kabbalistic way (the way shown by Rabbi Bakst based on the teachings of the Gaon of Vilna) seems to be more profound then any other path I was aware off so far from many (partly interesting) books and the undigested chaos of "New Age-Esoteric-Nonsense". I just finished two chapters only, but I'm deeply moved by the meaning radiating out of many resourceful lines of thought. Even if I'm not able to dance the HuG I might get assistance (from teachings that can not be taught) to enhance spiritual development. We urgently need some help. The next world is waiting. There is a striking resonance between the words of the Leshem (kabbalistic sage) and modern physics (page 89).LESHEM:The hasadim are hidden because they are absolutely still, awesomely quiet and united in their essence and therefore cannot reveal themselves without the activity of the gevurot.Modern Physics:The superposition of quantumwaves (probability waves) are hidden because they are absolutely still, awesomely quiet and united in their essence and therefore cannot reveal themselves without the activity "collapse of the wave function" , i.e. the particle aspect of quantum mechanics.LESHEM:The reason for the hiddeness of the gevurot, on the other hand, is their over activity as they remove themselves from themselves, hiding themselves from themsleves.Modern Physics:The reason for the hiddeness of the "collapse of the wave function", on the other hand, is their overactivtity as "electrons" remove from "electrons" (Pauli principle) and by quantum jumping, hiding themselves from themselves.LESHEM:The attribute of the hasadim are to expand without limitations and it is only due to the added quality of the gevurah that allows to control it and limit itself.Modern Physics:The attribute of "the superposition of quantumwaves" are to expand without limitations and it is only due to the added quality of the "collapse of the wavefunction" that allows to control it and limit itself.Klaus Scharff, Germany

An IndispensableTool for the Serious Kabbala Student
Beyond Kabbalah - The Teachings That Cannot Be Taught is a masterpiece. This work reflects a diligent and meticulous preparation for the coming Messianic era. Beyond Kabbalah is not your ordinary book. It is simply extraordinary. Like Neo in the Matrix, reading this book means going beyond the present experience of “flatland” reality. If you are someone who wants to know the truth, and is prepared to dig deeper for it, then this book is for you. And, like Neo it means taking the red pill. Beyond Kabbalah is an exposition on the secrets of the Talmudic Sage mystics. While the book is not a simple presentation, it brings many extremely difficult and previously unattainable concepts within reach.Rabbi Bakst is a Biblical Master, with well over 30 years of intensive Torah learning and training. He has developed methods, maps and models, along with the necessary proof-texts to help the reader navigate the territory that has been secret and closed for generations.Beyond Kabbalah is presented as a work-book in order to facilitate the learning process – there is so much to learn. And it is all so very exciting.During the last 2 Shabbats, I had been reading the book’s last chapter on the "Ascension of G-d's Thought". Within this chapter there is discussion about the Holocaust. It is more than astounding. Within this section, Rabbi Bakst discusses the relationship between Rabbi Akiva and the Holocaust. What he says is truly mind-bending.... I was in shock ...again. As I have experienced over several years, the Rabbi’s classes discussing the texts have a way of consistently doing that.
