Works very well.
I got this for my Wii as my smart tv has no port for the Wii to plug into. And I really like my Wii. And this works very well. I have had no problems with it at all. Hook up was easy and now I can play my Wii again. Picture quality is also great. And it is very affordable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs an alternative hookup for their Wii console.

Plug it in And Play your old Wii on new HDMI TVs!
This upgraded version Wii to HDMI converter came with everything needed to plug it directly into the Wii in place of the old-style TV cable and run directly to the HDMI connector of my TV. The upscaled image is nice and crisp and looks great on the 75" Samsung TV we have it connected to. Sound comes through to the TV and is good and clear. This device really brings the Wii back to life for newer TVs! Some small items to note: First, the farther away from the TV the more the pointer will jiggle (see Wii Settings to adjust this a bit). The HDMI output works but is not recognized by the TV as belonging to any group of game devices (would have been nice to at least have it recognized as a game).

My Wii is alive again
I used this product to revive my Wii. The new TV I have didn't have the appropriate hookup. But after purchasing this item it works perfectly. I'm having a ball playing my Wii again.

It’s easy and works great!
Searched and researched for the right adapter for Wii to smart tv. Ordered something that might have worked then Amazon suggested this. Lol! Thank goodness!

Easiest Wii option out there for HDMI.
UPDATE: The nylon braided HDMI cable is long and superb durabilityIf you have a good TV then this adapter will work perfectly for you. The adapter when being used to feed the video and audio to my plasma TV looks very good. I can now use my Wii in 1080p and it is a very good experience. The video looks fine on my 55" 4K TV. There are no lines or fuzziness; just perfect video and sound. The setup is easy, just plug your HDMI cable one end to the tv and the other to the converter! Will post if having any issues!

We can finally play our Wii again!
Had I known such a thing existed my Wii wouldn't have sat collecting dust for over a year after we upgraded our TV to one without AV inputs. Installing was a no brainer and the included HDMI cord gets the job done. If your expecting stellar graphics from most of your games, this will let you down but it's not the products fault by any means, the Wii is just old tech that was never made for high end graphics like the Xbox one or PS4.I do highly recommend this nonetheless. Its brought new life back to a gaming system that brought our whole family together and will continue to do so for alot longer and now on a MUCH bigger screen!

Required accessory to connect a Wii to HDMI port of the new smart tv’s.
We started using our Wii which is probably 15 years old or more.
