Good product
It makes some lead that is about 12 BHN hardness in a 10 lb pot by adding 1 1/4 pound of this career stuff brought it up to 18 BHN so I can harden 40 lb 12 up to 18 lb

Great for hand lapping new barrels!
Not soft, hard enough for formational integrity. Teflon your gig good and tight, pre warm the barrel, "just enough," emphasis on "warm." DONT COOK IT. Pour your mote SLOWLY, cool gradually at room temperature. Custom lap gig!

Great alloy, shipped fast!
I got this 30SB/70PB alloy to use for making my own bullet casting alloy. It really works well for this. For my little Lee 10lb pot, which actually holds about 8lb, 8oz (without spilling) I split this Rotometals 5lb shipment into 5 equal parts, giving me close to 5oz of antimony per pot. I added about 5oz of tin, and topped it up with about 7lb, 3oz of scrap lead, giving me a farily hard mix that works out to about 3.5%+Tin, 3.5%+ Antimony, and somewhere around 93% lead. This makes a fine casting alloy and allows me to recycle and reclaim some available local material at very reasonable cost. Great stuff, that alloys very easily into a great casting mix.

This is good stuff! I am casting bullets and I mix ...
This is good stuff! I am casting bullets and I mix this 50/50 with solder. The added antimony is giving me a 95% success rate. Have already ordered more. Very satisfied.

Bars are not equal in weight. Weigh each bar and add tin/lead as needed for casting bullets.
These Bars melted and combined easily with equal amounts of Pure lead and poured into thin aluminum cookie sheets. Will use these sheets after breaking into strips to be added equally again with an 8%Tin/92% Lead mix to produce bullet Alloy for casting.

pretty hard and works well for my need.
I used this to pour inside a splined pulley that was sloppy (heated pulley and shaft and used s pop can as a seal on top (part setting upside down) and heated the shaft and pulley then poured molten product in like a babit bearing build up. used candle soot to make non-stick carbon build up on the shaft for the rotary mower. so far held up well and was only slop removal.

Light
5lb came in at 3lb 9oz. Bit disappointed.

Lightning fast delivery
Arrived wait ahead of estimated date, big plus for that. User might need to be creative of melting down in a small pot but added a little lead to start and then pour into multiple 1/2 lb ingots to add as needed in the future.
