Weaver Leather Vaquero Split Reins, Brown/Tan, 3/8" x 8'

Very pretty, showy, looks good on a horse, but unless you need very very long reins, they are so long that they get in the way. You could use one of them for lunging a horse. the quality seems quite good and they are a nice addition to a fancy old style vaquero bridle. the reins remind me more of the hackamore mecates.

Really nice looking but too light at the bit. Not enough weight to feel good contact - I wrapped the end with leather which looked gorgeous and was just the right weight to feel better in my hand. Very long - a lot of rein to manage on my Arabian

I LIVE these reins. I had a set for about 10 years and they held together perfectly. I just purchased my second set. They feel good in your hand. No need to ever carry a crop. I’m primarily a trail rider. I’m so glad I found them again!

The reigns are very comfortable and easy to hold. So far they seem to be great quality for the price

These reins look great. However, it will not hold up long with real use as the seams are glued not sewn or wrapped.

Almost too long, but I like them. Easy to handle and will last well. For the amount paid, this is a good deal!
