Great washer, great pump.
There are so many of these pumps on Amazon that it is difficult to know which is OEM, authentic, or otherwise. I paid $29 for a pump from A+ Supply, and the description explicitly says that it is an authentic LG part. I can confirm that it is. My pump came in a brown package with a label and bar code for an "LG #XXXXXXX". Don't be put off by the box--it is a "track pack" intended for service professionals rather than consumers. (Consumer packs would have pictures, descriptions, and instructions.) Moreover, the part itself has "PLASET" molded in--that is the Italian manufacturer, and it matches the mold marks on the the old pump and the recirculation pump. It slid in perfectly, and everything lined up with no hitches. Once I got it back together, the washer is as good as new. If your LG washer displays the OE error, that indicates a pump failure; my original pump failed when the impeller cracked and was rattling around inside the bell housing. If you get that error and it has a loud sound, it is probably a similar issue. Rather than taking the entire machine apart, tip it up and back. I was able to replace the pump by coming up through the open bottom of the machine. It was a bit tight, but very doable. I got this machine for free because of a bad bearing, and I have ultimately replaced the outer plastic drum halves ($300), solenoid ($9), pump ($29), and spider ($90). It hasn't been cheap to fix, but this machine gets clothes cleaner than any washer or dry cleaner. (Have you noticed that microfiber rags die after a while? They stop absorbing liquids like when they were new. This washer gets microfiber so clean that 5 year old rags absorb just like brand new rags.) It is easy to simply junk the washer and get a new one. But you are helping yourself and the environment by fixing it.

Quality OEM Part
I prefer to use OEM parts when working with water. The pump was an exact fit, as expected, and has worked flawlessly. I hope to continue operating this 2010 washing machine for years to come.

it fit perfect and is operational
I have read a few reviews on this product. To all those complaining. You realize this product no mater factory installed or aftermarket is likely Chinese made. So I don't understand the complaints. I could really care less about its origin. Mine fit perfect after I got it clocked in the correct location to match the original one removed. Once installed my wife is now back in her office doing that womans work like she should be. If it was built in some sweat shop I could care less. My clothes are once again clean.

Arrived Broken, but made it work.
This pump arrived broken, despite there being no damage to the box or packaging materials. Based on the lack of packaging damage, that makes me think it was dropped and broken in the factory, which is very disappointing. This does not inspire confidence - especially for an OEM part that is being ordered to replace the original pump that failed after a single year. However, rather than going through the hassle of the return and having to wait three more days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) for a replacement to arrive, I managed to pull the electrical portion of the old/original pump motor off and attach it to the non-broken part of the new pump. This hybrid Frankenpump appears to be working. For now anyways. Not optimistic about getting even another year out of this.

It works
It's an OEM part. Obviously a direct replacement. Identical to the broken part I removed. This part, a YouTube video, a screwdriver, a ratchet set, and an hour, and our washer is working again.

NOT in LG box but same pump you need.
This is the second pump i bought for my LG WM2010CW washer. The original went out after 8 years. The next pump i bought from Amazon lasted 10 months and was not a factory pump. The housing was a bit off but i got it to fit. I THEN ORDERED THIS PUMP, and when reading the reviews i saw all the negative comments, but the pump had already shipped. I found a FACTORY pump in town on Monday and it was TRIPLE of this pump with only a 90 day warranty. But after the hassle of disassembly i am not messing around. Factory pump installed and running fine. The next day THIS PUMP showed and it is THE EXACT SAME PUMP just without the LG logo on the box and the extra $50. Pump stickers, housing, all it exactly the same. I am keeping this pump as a backup. Sticker on side of both is visible in the last pic,.

Doesn’t last.
Replaced the original in Aug 2023. Now I need to replace this again Feb 2025. I have NOT been drying clothes in the machine, hanging to dry, hoping that would make the drain pump last longer. I think the original pump was 3 years old, this one didn’t last two years. Is this a design flaw? Saving money to buy a different brand washer. So disappointed.
