Advertised as aluminum. Definitely stamped steel. Had a shipping error and it ended up getting a screw broken. Replacement is enroute. I would say it’s worth the $28 as I sit here and fletch a few before it goes back. I tried to get a screw sent but amazon insists on a full return.

It states Fsskgx fletching jig. It's labeled Avalon fletching jig in the instructions FYI. You'll need that info to look up the YouTube video later.If you take the time to learn to set up this jig it is very precise. It needs to be set up for specific arrow fletching angles and fletching positron. Look on YouTube for the Avalon fletching jig. There is one video in English that tells you everything you need to know. I just Fletched a dozen 4 vane arrows with a 2 degree left offset. All 12 arrows came out prefect. I would definitely recommend this jig but know out of the box it will not fletch correctly. Not should it. Each arrow is set up different for different needs. Also it is not a helical fletching jig. It comes with a straight clamp but you can offset the vane left or right. I do not know if the company makes a helical clamp but i think any metal helical clamp will work assuming it will stick to a magnet. People complain the magnet is to strong. It needs to be to secure the vane down without popping up off the shaft. I had no trouble with the magnet strength. I will be buying more of these jigs. It works extremely well. Just be smart out of the box it will not be set up to fletch correctly. It came with instructions but the YouTube video is way more instructive. I don't write reviews unless i believe the product deserves it. So that's my review. A+ it's inexpensive but works as it should when set up. And yes it's made of steel not aluminum but that doesn't matter at all. Steel is magnetic aluminum is not. Cheers.

Fletched hundreds or more I all different sizes, materials, and offsets. Helicals take finesse with the clamp for it. Fletch 3-5 vanes with it. Be sure to glue the magnets in so they don’t move around unless that’s what you prefer. Money well spent about 2 years ago.

Don't waste your time spend $20 more and buy a good jig. It came broken and it doesn't show degree for helical.

Bought this jig but very poor quality material the unit was packed very poorly and the end adjusting know was broken

4 stelle: il telaio é un unico solido pezzo, la molletta é robusta e permette impennaggi a 3, 4 e 6 alette.Purtroppo le viti di regolazione della pinza non hanno una scala di riferimento, quindi bisogna regolarla ad occhio e poi fissarla stringendole, ed il bordo dove si clampano le alette non é liscio come dovrebbe, va rifinito a lima perché non intacchi le alette durante l'applicazione.Va bene per chi vuole iniziare con un attrezzo economico, a patto di spendere un pó di tempo per regolarlo e rifinirlo.Altra cosa importante (e non capisco perché non sia specificato in descrizione) rimuovendo il dente rotante a cui si aggancia la cocca delle frecce si possono inserire dardi da balestra.

Qualité moyenne, livré sans la vis pointeau pour bloquer en rotation la flèche pas très simple le système de bloquage en rotation pas de repères d angle.
