I didn't have any trouble with assembly except for the locking mechanism for the shelving system ( as others have commented). I solved this by getting a heavy coffee table book to place on the shelf, while pushing down on the book to elevate the lock into place. This provided the leverage needed without getting a helper. For reference I am a partially handicapped senior with arthritis...so this project will be easier for young folk.Since I have the larger units, I can say that this will not be useful for heavy items like my other origami shelves that are hefty and larger. However, I can see this working for a laundry room, office files and knick knacks, or as a bakers rack.Overall, I am pleased and didn't have any damage discovered while unpacking, or during assembly of the wheels. Quite an easy project after my last furniture assembly project last week that was very difficult. My shelf unit is going in the laundry room for my containers of powdered laundry soap, cleaning supplies and towels. I wouldn't use it for garage items or canned goods in a pantry however. Just my two cents. 🤔 I do have the 5 shelf origami system for a food pantry in a spare closet that I am extremely pleased with.

[UPDATE 10/28/20: I moved recently, &, yes, it was so nice to just fold these up. They even fit in my SUV; i didn't use professional movers.Thos is the least favorite of all my foldable shelves. It is a little bit tippy; maybe it would be better if I took it off the casters--but i love the casters! Part of the problem is the "slim" part. Yes they stick out from the wall less, and they're more attractive. But they aren't very deep. Most of your small kitchen appliances won't fit well. If they were flat on the bottom, maybe they'd work. But my microwave, breadmaker & Instapot all have little feet on them, & the feet don't fit on thes narrow shelves. I've ended up adding fabric bins to some of the shelves. But a lot of people will be considering this to put small appliances on.My toaster fits fine! As well as my mixer & my my spice grinder & my mini food chopper. Just pay attention to the dimensions, & look at the bottoms of your applances.]Ordered 2 different origami shelves. They folded out, the wheels and rolled them into place. Easy peasy. Also ordered 2 stackable Honey Can Do shelves which needed to be assembled. Could NOT figure out the directions--which was just a diagram anyway. Shoved them back in the boxes, hid them in a closet and promptly ordered a smaller Origami. Pricey for its size, but folded out just as easily. Remember, people, they will be just as easy to fold UP the next time you move. I LOVE these thingd.I'm amending my answer (in a good way). I DID buy extra inserts. (Avalable at amazon for $30 for 6 inserts, 3 shelves worth) Having 5 shelves with inserts, instead of just the bottom 2, does not compromise the unit. It's not top heavy, for example.One important thing to know. There'" a frame that the 2 inserts fit into. Nice if you use the inserts, but if you don't want the inserts, you're still going to get the frames (2 ajacent frames per shelf). I don,t think anyone else's plastic liners are going to work, because they,d be sitting on top of the frame. Going to sag if you put anything heavy on them.This may be hard to visualize, but here,s my recommendation. If you don't want bare wire shelves, get the inserts. Unless you want to cut your own plywood inserts, or something.

Easy to set up and sturdy

We buy our dog’s food in bulk. So we needed a good rack for storing it. It’s the perfect size for this, a case of 24 cans of dog food fits on the shelf, to give you an idea of the sizing and etc. Just what we needed! It fits perfectly between our freezer and the wall. We went with the white color shelf instead of the metal, so it matches our walls and freezer. It comes with 4 wooden boards to help with the shelves so things won’t fall through the cracks. Also makes the shelves feel more sturdy.We also ordered the separate, 6 piece wooden boards to go on the remaining shelves.SO FAR ITS PERFECT & WE DO ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! BUT…When it arrived, 1/4 wooden boards came cracked and damaged already in the box. (Currently, we are waiting to hear from the seller about that 4th replacement board.)Also, the 6 wooden boards we purchased separately, we only received 5/6 of those boards. We should have 10 all together, 2 per shelf. So we have 1 damaged, 1 missing. (Also waiting to hear from seller about the missing 6th board as well.) Once we get the 2 boards that we need, all will be PERFECT.Mighti USA is the store for the storage racks and the boards. We love the product. It’s simple to put together and it has wheels, so pulling it in and out to get what you need off the shelf is easy and won’t hurt your floors.Just a tip- put whatever weighs the most on the bottom shelf. And pull from the middle shelf if you are storing it between something. Like between a freezer and a wall. It helps to keep the balance, so it doesn’t tip or wobble. You can also lock the wheels I think 🤔. I’ll have to double check that. It looked like you could lock it. I plan to come back and post some pictures later on. Maybe it will help someone in making a decision.Hopefully everything will work out and we will get the 2 replacement boards that we need. So far we are very pleased with the product. I gave it 4/5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟!I recommend buying the extra wooden boards to go with your rack. It gives it a uniformed look and it provides some extra sturdiness to your rack. Also no matter what you put on the rack, it won’t fall through. And if you need to remove a board or 2, they are small and compact and easy to store somewhere until you need them again. They look like they’re easy to clean. And they just have an overall nice look about them!

Great, fits my under stairs closet and holds plenty.

These shelves were used in stead of built in shelves. I find that when you have a 25 inch shelf you can never find anything in the back of the shelf. The movable shelves allows you to use the entire shelf because they pull out. I purchased 2 as I have them side by side. Works great and the shelves are very stable a rugged. The set up is around 1 minute out of the box. Great design as they collapse when I don't need the extra storage.
