Nesco MWR18-14 Roaster Oven, 18 Quart, White

Bought this as I was freaking out about 1st time hosting and making all the things for thanksgiving (vs ordering in previous years!). We have one oven and timing everything can be a challenge. After reading reviews and seeing harsh chemicals in other roasters we picked this one and it delivered! Turkey was done early (so we needed to catch up on other things) or know to cook a little later. It was moist and great! I was most worried about it being dry but even my honest sister said it was the best turkey she has ever had! I am so happy with purchase and plan to use for other gatherings with large portions! Easy to clean following for bonus perk!

Well cooked Xmas and Thanksgiving turkeys in this and I'm telling you it was cooked tinder and the ham o my it was wonderful andi cook homemade stew in it dammit man I love it as much as my wife .this cooker is well worth the money and the temperature settings makes it so easy to use

Love the large size! Very easy to use and clean, great heat levels for fast or slow cooking, the best part of this product is you can cook up a lot of food in it at one time so there is less pots and pans to clean up after cooking, and it is not to heavy for its size. I used to have to use 2 slow cookers now it only takes this one!

I am so glad that I ordered the roaster. I have cooked a ham and a large turkey breast. The both was perfect. It was so nice not to worry about it. No extra heat in the kitchen. I recommend this Roaster to anyone that enjoys cooking. Thank you Amazon.

Roaster is great , however the included rack is a disgrace to even have included it . Of course if you’ll cook a 5 lb chicken it’s fine … nothing more it’s literally twisted

Amazing product!Easy to use and clean, and our turkey cooked and tasted incredible! Frees up all your oven space for sides/dressings. Worth every penny!!

One thing about this Nesco 18 QUARTS Roaster pan.. it's big. like bigger than a basset hound big. Trying to find a place to store it was difficult. I eventually found enough shelf room in this little house for it, and it's totally worth it.I have used it several times already for tomatoes, apples, peaches. Always run out of jars for the capacity it has.Sides heat up a lot faster than the bottom does, and I forgot you're supposed to put water in between the heating element and insert pan the first time, but the eventual scaring on the inside does go away.I have a split sink and not much room to clean the insert comfortably. I may have to invest in a full tub sink, instead of a 2 compartment. The rest of the unit is easy to wipe out, and no calcium ring on the inside if you add a dash of vinegar in the water.Dial is very easy to read, but also easy to bump. Be careful and listen for the 'tick' when the dial goes above where it's currently set to.A good investment for any hobbyist canner, homesteader, or large family.

I love this product. I wanted one so bad to help me with my canning. I truly love it, but the finish on the inside is very dull now. VERY dull. It looks like I scrubbed it with something abrasive, which I didn't. Just my dish brush, soap, and water. If you want it to stay "pretty" you may want to reconsider. Or maybe this is just what happens. Like I said I really wanted one of these and have taken such good care of it because I am grateful for it and need it to can. But not happy with the inside looking "gray" instead of black. It is truly incredible.11.12.2022 after three uses the finish is extremely dull. One more, I SAS making chili sauce, which is red. After letting it cool I had black swirls in my chili sauce from the finish. My Neck is so important to me, saved money to buy it! I stir every 15 to 25 minutes. I cook at 250 degress. Not once did it ever scorch, but I am very concerned for the finish! Finding it in my sauce after 12 hours and $100 of ingredients, I am really upset!
