Very efficient, very quiet excellent quality
Left it a while before reviewing to make sure not a 5 minute wonder. For a medium sized garden, this is a no brainer. Quick delivery, easy to set up (5 minutes), battery fully charged too, so 15 minutes after delivery, you're mowing... 30 minutes after delivery, you're done. So long as you don't have the length setting too short, this will mow as quick as you can walk, seriously. Battery life is good, too - again, as long as you get the length settings right... too low, and it will happily mow, but battery life is much less. You're better off using a high setting at first, then the lower one for a second pass - depending on the size of the lawn, you'll have ample power from a single charge. One thing used to annoy me about the old corded mower with roller was mowing wet grass. An absolute no no. No problem with this one... as long as you have a 15 minute window between downpours, you can still cut the grass effectively with none of the compaction, grass tearing or gouging. Again, high setting then a lower setting... no drama. The supplied strimmer is perfectly adequate for its role, nicely adjustable, very light and powerful, a good companion to the mower (mind you, the mower does cut right to the edge anyway) The other tools in the Ryobi One range are equally good quality, but save yourself a bit of money by getting a couple of generic spare batteries. You can pick up 2 x 5A batteries for a decent price and much less than the Ryobi branded ones

Easy to use, works fine, think about batteries
This is a perfect mower for small to medium sized lawns if you're already in the Ryobi One+ ecosystem. I already have other Ryobi tools and batteries and chargers, so this is a great improvement on my old corded mower, much less faffing around. However, if you have smaller batteries - the kind of thing you might use on a drill - it'll struggle with bigger mowing jobs (ie overgrown grass on a large lawn), you might have to swap batteries halfway through, or pause so they can cool down (I find that batteries reach their thermal limit before they're fully discharged). Even then it's less hassle than dragging a cable everywhere. I think most people would find that the lighter & easier mowing leads to them doing smaller mows more often, and in that case battery life probably isn't a problem. The lighter mower & lack of cable could make it easier to drop by and mow a relative's lawn, or a neighbour. Of course it's not cheap (and if you're buying official branded batteries it can get even more expensive), but for me it's worthwhile. If you're mowing a really big lawn, then maybe 2-stroke is still the way to go?

Lightweight, good cut for smaller gardens
After reading many reviews about performance I finally took a risk on this. So far I am not disappointed. It comes collapsed and is easy to assemble in about 10 mins. The Grass Trimmer feels flimsy but also nice and lightweight. This requires a Phillips screwdriver to attach the guard. The lawnmower itself is very light which is something I was looking for as I had to lug my old one up several steps. I pre charged the battery which takes around an hour using the intelligent charger base. Then went out to give it a run. My lawn wasn’t long. I cut it around a month ago so it was starting to look like it needed trimming again. The back lawn itself is 6m x 9m; So fairly average I'm guessing. At first I thought I had a faulty mower as I pressed the trigger and the mower made a bit of a whiring noise then stopped. Then I tried tilting it back a little which worked. I’m guessing as it’s battery you need to give in 2 to 3 seconds to spin before lowering it. After that I had no issues. The cutting power of the solid metal blade is great. The trim of the grass is level and the attached grass box picked up without any issues leaving no mess behind. The Ryobi mower is really light to push which made the job much quicker than with my previous qualcast wired mower. Battery life…. Well.. I got 3/4 of the way through before an audible change of pace happened and the 4ah battery had depleted. Luckily I have other Ryobi Tools so attached a spare 2ah Battery which allowed me to complete the remaining 1/4 of the lawn. Worth bearing in mind if you are buying this without other batteries to hand! Changing the battery over took seconds so it’s not cumbersome at all, and I like the safety key feature to prevent accidents. What used to take 40mins with setting up wires, extensions, dragging wires around and making sure you didn’t run over them now too around 20mins. So much quicker! So much lighter. I even did the front lawn in 10mins start to finish (getting the mower out of the garage and putting in the battery) in a race against the rain 🤣. The free grass trimmer, whilst it feels cheap is actually really good! Again not having wires like on my old flymo one meant I had walked around the garden, trimmed the edges in under 5mins. Nice and lightweight and simple to use. Overall: Pros: lightweight, good quality, great cut, TIME SAVING!! Cons: Ideally you need a spare battery (Ryobi or aftermarket) - that is literally the only “Con” I can think of. For £234 which I paid for this on offer price for both a mower and trimmer I am very pleased. UPDATE:- Second mow of the year. This time the grass was of a “Normal” in need of a trim. One battery did the job. Great cut. A fraction of the time it would have taken with my old corded mower. Happily recommend this product.

Bis heute in regelmäßiger Nutzung. Wenn man bei der Sense die Schnur gegen klingen tauscht hat sie auch richtig Dampf. Der Rasenmäher ist nur für kleine Flächen geeignet.

TOTAL SCAM!! Product is garbage. SELLER ONLY REFUNDED $24 ON A $464 PRODUCT . I have a very small yard; grass was not wet or tall. Just to get one row in (maybe 25 feet) had to switch batteries three times ( nothing wrong with batteries). So I return it, without any damage since I couldn’t even use it, i packed it exactly how it came to me with all the same packing materials. SELLER ONLY REFUNDED $24 OF THE $464 PRODUCT I had to contact Amazon numerous times and finally they refunded me because the seller refused. TOTAL SCAM

Ottimo prodotto.
