I bought these because I just got a new motorcycle and didnt really have the best footwear for handling the shifter, and they are marketed as a "motorcycle shoe." They dont seem like they were specifically made for the job, but they are solid material (all my tennis shoes are cloth) and they have padding on top so I think they will be better for the job than anything I have, although I foresee it probably wont be long before the finish is rubbed off on only my left foot. Why I want to rate them so high is the style. I just love the way they look with some loose-fitting jeans. I might just buy a pair in another color just to wear around, but I love the way the red looks. They make you feel like a music mogul on a "I sell CDs outside of the gas station" budget.

You should have seen my gold bow tie, cumber-bun and gold suspenders !!! The shoes are substantial and very comfortable. Buy them for the right occasion.
