And their date syrup is a delicious addition to our pantry.

I love this date sugar as a replacement for white sugar I put it in my coffee and use it in baking on cereal , everything I would use refined sugar in ! I just love the taste!!

This product isn't going to work well as a universal sugar substitute but the supplier is very clear about that. It's pure dried and ground dates (which I love) so it tends to clump and it isn't the best for things like cbeverages due to all the natural fiber. However, It IS a geat sweetener for my breakfast smoothie! I love that it is a natural whole food sweetener and it tastes great. It would also work great for baking.

In my review below you can see that I was not happy with this date sugar. The Date Lady Team read my review and sent me four replacement bags. I AM SO IMPRESSED! I've never encountered an Amazon seller who would take the time and spend money to make it up to me. KUDOs to the team. I have yet to open a replacement bag, but this date sugar doesn't have the lumps -- in the bag it reminds me of brown sugar. I look forward to using it. THANK YOU Date Lady Team! Original post: I've been buying date sugar for years. I've bought different brands. The taste of this brand is typical, but I've NEVER seen such lumpy date sugar. I bought 4 bags and ALL are the lumpiest I've ever seen. I bake with it, mix it in smoothies, breakfast cereal. This stuff is good for smoothies, if I break up the huge lumps. It cannot be used as is to bake or for my cereal. I don't recommend it.

I don't eat white sugar, so this has been a GREAT find. I just this date sugar for all of my baking and date syrup for all uncooked eats. This is so healthy for you.

I wasn't expecting it to taste this good. It has a very mild taste. The sweetness is just right for a substitute sugar. Surprisingly it tastes nothing like fig. I recommend fig sugar as a subtitute for sugar.

Date sugar has a lovely complex flavor because it's a whole food. It's not as wildly sweet as cane sugar. Now all the "cheat" sweets that I craved are one-note, too sweet - just not very interesting. I spritz air popped popcorn with apple vinegar, sprinkle with nutritional yeast and date sugar. It is so yummy, it makes me feel good and it's filled with fiber and goodness. I am a new convert - totally surprised to find myself in love with date sugar! Glad to find an easy, well priced source.
