This is VERY sturdy and you need to install w/ability to grab the rod that secures the extension.It wasn`t working out so I hacksawed what I needed to and works fine..Great value and VERY sturdy material with plenty of hardware for many options.I would,as a pro a/v tech recommend this anytime you need a tv in a cabinet/rv/marine scenario..I was able to push in/out without issue and turn left right for angles and to access cabinets-no lost storage in a small rv. I upgraded my front TV from a 32" LED to a 40" LCD, and moved the old one to the CRT spot in my bedroom of my Georgetown Class A RV. The only reason I gave it 3 stars on the install was that it took me several tries to get it measured out, tested, etc... I had ordered the TALL version first, but when I mounted everything, it was still 1/2" to tall (my own fault). The TV fits perfectly, and despite its 25lb bulk of the 32" Philipps LCD TV there is little to no movement as we drive down the highway (still waiting for the brutal I-90 Snoqualmie Pass test).

This is a good strong TV bracket. To bad the bracket arm is installed backwards. (Sorry the picture is sideways. No matter what I did, it kept loading is sideways). The bracket arm should be coming out the same side as the rubber bummers that are at the top of the post. The arm is riveted in, so I cant change it. We could have returned it but we needed to finish this project. So we installed the mount with the arm facing the back of the cabinet. We weren’t planning on pulling the tv forward anyway, but still... We still have to put the molding around the TV, but you can see there is no bracket arm facing outward.

Very disappointed. If this had been the first item I ordered from MORryde I would never have ordered from them again. But since the first item I ordered from them was OK I may chance another order.The problems. Poor shipping/packing. Although the package arrived damaged I don't believe this caused the underlying problems. The unit was bent in several places, I put it in my vise and straightened everything out. All the bolts were loose, including the ones that held in the guide bearings, so the arm that slides out was not properly held in place. It wiggled and rattled. When I tried to tighten the bearing bolts I found out they used the wrong fasteners and tightening the bolts caused them to capture both the inner and outer race which locked the bearing in place so it wouldn't turn. Luckily I have a pretty complete shop and I was able to find some appropriately sized washers so tightening the bolts only captured the inner race and the bearing would turn. It addition to the bearings there are plastic glides to hold the moveable arm in place from side to side. They were installed backwards, from the outside in instead of the inside out. When I fixed this the moveable arm would not fit through its opening, the tube was bent in at one end. Back to the vise for some more unbending. After all the modifications and installation the mount works as advertised, but I thought I was buying a finished product, not a "kit" that required the user to work on it before use.

This mount is very well made and has all the parts you will need to mount the bottom to whatever base you want. (make sure whatever base you are going to attach it to is sturdy and stable) Also, has everything you need to attach TV at the other end. The only surprise I got was that the VESA TV mounting holes were not centered on the back of my LG flat screen as I had assumed before purchase (this was a TV issue not a mount issue). Anyways, I almost needed to purchase the taller mount due to where the VESA holes were on the back of the TV, but lucked out... Great product!

Works for me. Installed a flat screen in my National RV. Front compartment over driver and passenger.12” was to small for me even though I went all the way up on the adjustment and the 17” would be too tall even with the adjustment all the way down. (Just for my application 2008 National RV overhead TV) I ended up stacking plywood and gluing and clamping and drilling holes to make up a spacer. Worked perfect. But all in all the product is just want I need. It is strong works great so far.As someone mentioned it would be nice to have a spring on the lever to make sure that the bar you lift up does not pop out on a bump or ???? it would be nice to have some tension on the bar that is meant to lock the TV into position. Next model should have this. Still 5 star product.

Great product - quality construction - easy-to-follow instructions - all necessary hardware included. I bought this to mount a new 32" flat screen TV in my motorhome when the original analog TV finally quit. The original TV had been mounted in a cabinet in the front overhead entertainment center of our motorhome, and this mount made it very simple to still use that cabinet for mounting the new flat screen TV in the same location. The new TV with its different shape (more rectangular than square) is now mounted securely in front of the cabinet and looks great. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to mount a flat screen TV in an existing cabinet that used to hold an analog TV.

I wanted to replace the old analog TVs in my RV with new Flat Screen models. I found these were just the thing. Easy to mount and sufficiently strong to handle the TVs while on the road. I would recommend these for anyone needing to mount a TV as I did. Only thing I would recommend would be a way to provide more than the 2 adjustments provided to extend the TV, but as is, the mount did the job I needed.
