If you know, you know - paint pens are way better than sharpies in some applications like marking on metal and plastic. I use this to create witness marks on critical bolts like brake calipers and oil drain plugs on my car and motorcycle, so you can quickly see if they are coming loose. It's also one of the few paint pens available with a fine enough tip that it can be used on smaller screws like an M3.Be careful with them as the o-ring in the tip tends to leak and paint goes everywhere sometimes after, say, storing them in your car, or being subject to lots of vibration like tossed in a backpack and carried around for a month. They are quite delicate.

This paint pen was recommended by my graphic designer for signing jewelry cards to give my sea glass jewelry a special hand-crafted touch. The previous pens I used hit the bumps of texture on the cards releasing too little or too much paint. This pen flows evenly and reliably, giving me the look I wanted. I have the pen in many colors now. If you order one to do delicate work, make sure you get the Extra Fine tip.

Writes nicely. Sticks to different surface types. Paint stands out.

Lays down a fine line of silver lacquer paint. I use them to mark the plug-in power supplies for all the toys and goodies. Permanent marker doesn't wipe off, clear and legible on black plastic, or clear cover. Great.

I love this brand and it has been increasingly hard to find in other stores. Though at times the extra thin is hard to use as it dries up quickly.

Love the color, tip is nice and fine. Worked great for the first 5 minutes before the tip fell out and stopped producing ink. Hoping it's a fluke, will replace with the same and will update the review if the replacement works better.

For fine work, the tip is great. I would have given this five stars except for the fact that this pen (like other similar ones) tends to get "gunked up"--tip getting clogged and paint oozing out--which renders them useless. If you can keep it from getting gunked up, it's a great pen.
