Sugar melted, slices damp and very sticky, bleh!
The slices appear to have gotten wet during packing. The taste and texture is off. I will be throwing away.Said Not Eligible For Return - so a 100% waste of money. Very disappointed

Arrived Partially Melted
Although the taste was fine, they arrived melted and sticky. Not how I expected to receive them. They need to figure out how best to ship or store these so they don’t arrive in a sticky blob.

Best Fruit Flavor, Tartness! (vs other brand at same time)
These had much better fruit flavor and tartness than the "Oh Nuts!" box of similar fruit slices I bought at the same time to test which was best. The "Oh Nuts!" big box had several odd flavors and not enough of the PRIMARY flavors...and the flavors were boring, not vivid. These "America's Original Boston Fruit Slices" were significantly better in flavor, and had the proper primary flavors, not odd ones. Much happier and now buying these again...NOT the other brand. Just my opinion; but as a kid with Mom I recall fondly getting these at the food store like 50 years ago, I remember. The white upper edge is not as "hard" as the old ones, maybe they softened that white part on purpose but I liked the harder white strip as it gave a better, more interesting "chewy part" to the jelly part's softness. Oh well...the flavor of these is there, that is the main thing!
