Seamax 24V 85 pound thrust 40 inch shaft
I purchased this to run on a Pelican Bass Raider 10e. I am in the middle of customizing the boat with extra pontoons to haul more weight and ride higher on the water to get to places other boats cannot. I did attach the motor for a trial run before any changes to the boat and ran it for over an hour on high. The motor actually lifted the front of the boat out of the water with this motor.I did have some interaction with the company. I sent them a question by email and while they responded they did not answer the question I asked, but answered another question I did not ask. I went back and forth trying to get them to answer the question I asked, but never got my answer through email. I first thought someone was playing games with me and I was not very happy. Finally I called and got hold of someone to get an answer and complain. This person took care of the issue. I have now come to the conclusion after speaking with them on the phone that because this is a Chinese company using Chinese people in Canada there is a language breakdown and it makes it hard for them to always understand what is being asked even though they do speak English. The person I spoke with on the phone was very nice and took care of my concerns. She even gave me a spare prop for free to cover my aggravation. I am even considering buying another one of these motors down the road.
