VR Ping Pong Pro (PS4)

Very realistic and good fun.

I love the VR. Fruit ninja, beat sabre and super hot are all fantastic games. I thought this would be up my street. Visually it’s impressive. You can move around a little, have great views. There are nice touches like somebody jogging past, and bystanders having a chat. However the game is awful. It seems so hit and miss as to where the ball goes and how hard. There’s no skill, no learning, no improving, it’s just pot luck as to where the ball ends up. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are far better games out there.

Unable to play the game unless you have a second controller. The default controller seems to be player 2 and i've not since found a way to correct this. If you have one controller you are stuck.Did eventually get it going with another controller.Its a pretty but shallow game. You get 4 maps an arcade (using the existing maps) and a world cup which requires playstation online, which I don't have.After a lot of tinkering with the settings, I found positioning which worked, but everything is an uphill struggle in this game. The in game menus are clunky to use (and don't pause the opponent when in use!!).The physics are ok, I found I could put on some back, side and top spin, but the power is all over the place. Either I send the ball blasting into the distance, or it flails off my bat into the net.The environments are pretty, but I just dont have fun playing the game.I'd rate higher but the controller issue is horrific. I have no idea how it hasn't been patched...
