This is a comprehensive set of sea creatures that any child who is a nature enthusiast would love to have. They will also be great for an Ocean unit at school. The animals are made with hard plastic. They are realistic looking with nicely painted details. Small details like eyes, noses, mouths, teeth, etc. are well done and placed accurately. They are mostly of a decent size – the only ones that are smaller are the collection of white animals, but the details on those are also well done. I was able to copy and paste the chart from the product page and it printed very well on portrait orientation with .5-inch margins. I just cut a little off the bottom to make an even frame. I’ll have it laminated and it will be a wonderful addition to the Ocean Study Center.

These seem just fine for the price. You get a lot of figures, of a wide variety, and they are relatively well painted. The paint has held up to water play so far.My only complaints:1. They come in a bunch of separate little plastic baggies. It's kind of a waste of plastic. And, no box or anything to store them in.2. The sizes are way off, when comparing two different animals to each other, considering their real-life counterparts. Not sure if you could really do anything about this, realistically, but wanted to mention it just in case. Our jungle animals set does a slightly better job of this.3. For the price, these seem a little on the small size. I would have either wanted a slightly lower price, or a slightly larger animal size. Not too bad, though.Overall, I would recommend this set, just keep in mind what I've said above and compare to other sets out there!

This is a really great variety of small figurines that are of the sea. My daughter has been collecting many small animal figurines and this provides everything needed for the ocean animals. My daughter plays with them all the time and I love the detail and overall quality. Great value. Would make a fun gift for any child who loves creative play or projects.

They come in a bag not reusable not a case. Also the figures are so small a child would choke to death. This product needs a warning label. They went back the day I got them. Cheap small and deadly

I use these with epoxy resin for sea / marine dioramas. They work really well with some prep work - bubbles, etc. Colors don't run and they can be repainted if need be. But - don't put them one 1 year old's birthday cake. Seriously. Who thought of that?

Kids loved "fishing" them out.

So these are not going to be as realistic as a certain very realistic brand but given the fact that you're getting 32 pieces at the same price that you'd be lucky to get between 1 to 4 pieces of the other brand this is great for rounding out a little ones collection. For us it was the perfect choice because she had just recently had a big push into an aquatic interest and this sent knocked out so many different animals for her to learn about and see that it was perfect. Really at this price it's just a good solid option even if the quality isn't excellent the price more than makes up for it and the durable enough for plenty of play to be had with these.
