I set up this camera on my woodline to try and catch the deer and other animals to see what kind of wildlife is in my area. So far the cam is working great and every few days I go out and plug the SD card into my PC and watch all the videos. The picture is very clear and even the night shots look great. It has also survived some big storms and seems to be really durable. So happy I got this as now know what kind of animals are running around my house.

This camera eats up batteries at a ridiculous rate. The pictures are clear, but its not worth the cost or hassle of constantly replacing 8 batteries. It's been 30 days and we've gone through 16 batteres...are its not taking many pictures...no videos. I would like to return it but my 30 day window has expired.

I'be been running four Neewer trail cameras for two years without any problems. Great photo quality night and day and only replace the batteries when the camera is put in place in mid-May (pull cameras the end of November).

It worked great in the beginning. Loved it. But then it slowly started not working right. You would open up the case and there would be water in the bottom, you would turn it on and it would automatically turn off or keep cycling on and off (coincidently around the time of finding water in the bottom). And no way to contact the company to complain (its only 17 months old too). Bummer

Just started using the camera in the past week to monitor a few cats living in our bushes. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t feeding anything else. It’s been great for the last week but it just started acting up last night.First of all, you have to reformat the card every time to clear the memory. Deleting files at your computer doesn’t free up space or allow the camera to overwrite old data. This is quite annoying.Last night it stopped taking full 1 minute videos and instead took 5 second and 15 second videos. I really hope it’s not going on the fritz because $50 is a lot for 1 week of use.Edited: Bought a brand new premium 32GB SD card and again the videos failed to record at the set amount. It started the night at the full minute then progressively shortened to 5 seconds as the night went on. Batteries are at 95%. Makes no sense.

Neat sound, good picture. Only it doesn't work that long. Lasted me alittle over 2 years using only in winter. Not very good if it quits in the woods. Warranty should be like Calbelas. Lifetime.

I bought this for my dad for his birthday. He has a small farm along the wood line and has always liked watching the deer and other animals on his property. He had a trail cam like 10 years ago that he eventually beat to death, so I figured I'd get him a new upgraded one. This one is really good, much better than the one he had, the only issue I have with it (or he has I guess), he has a hard time with the controls on the cam, he'd much rather just take the SD card out and look at it on his computer.

Photos and videos great, easy to set up, good motion detection, temperature read 31 to 71 degrees over night when it was 28-34 degrees tops.
