great quality hair
My daughter is really into doing hair. I bought this for her to practice different hair styles on. It clamps to her desk and she's able to work with it. She's learned how to french braid using this head. It's opened her creativity when it comes to hair. She's 11 yrs old and this is her newest hobby. The hair is pretty good quality. As she brushes, we are not losing hair or breaking hair. Its a great training tool.

Good Quality & Value
I used to practice my braiding so I would get faster and better when doing my daughter’s hair. Now my daughter uses to play beauty shop and perfect her skills. It’s pretty durable. It does shed some, but not too much and some is to be expected.

Better than expected
Did not expect much from an 18 dollar head of Hair. However I was really surprised at how soft and manageable it is. It feels like authentic hair. Wayy better than the ones we got at school

Awesome product and price! Perfect for practicing portrait photography. Why pay more?
My mom gets tired of me using her to practice portrait photography on so I searched on Amazon for a mannequin head after seeing a couple at a thrift shop. I was expecting to see prices starting at twice the price of this. This is the cheapest mannequin head I could find. Despite the rock bottom price, the product is perfect for my use.Hair does not pull out easily and almost feels like real hair to me. It's held up find when I ran mny fingers through to "comb" it out a couple of times. The skin is matte and soft to the touch rubbery, but is rigid enough to not dent in. Eyes balls are shaped more conical if you look in the pictures, so catch lights are not would see on a natural round retina. The eyes have a clear, glossy surface, so thery will have catch lights. Lips are glossy also. Ears are missing lobes, but otherwise can pass the glance test. Head size is a little smaller than the average head,Along with the head comes a clamp that the head mounts on. I used a piece of wooden board held by my old super clamp that was screwed to a light stand to mount the clamp. The head weighs 1lb. 6oz., while the clamp is super light at 4.9oz. as besides the metal thread, is made of plastic.I haven't yanked on her hair or tried any type of hair styling so I can;t comment on how it holds up to that, but for photography practice, I can't recommend this enough. This is shipped free with Prime, so you get this fast... even for folks like me who live in Hawaii :)

The length is not consistent with the product description
The length is roughly 3+ inches shorter than the product description states (so be mindful of that if that is important to you), and the quality isn't great, but should be sufficient for me to use for tutorials. One bonus is the product shipped quickly.

Pretty, but hard to manage..
I got the rainbow one a couple years ago. I read the reviews, and kind of got mislead. It didn’t last long at all. Even me who know how to brush hair, has a struggle with this head. The hair feel exactly like the cheapest wig you don’t want. It tangles like the wig you don’t want. It’s very pretty thought, and was enjoyable to look at and un package. It comes with a clamp to mount on a table or a head stick. You can use a broom stick if you’re not too fancy.Would not recommend if you’re trying to learn how to braid. This hair is very straight and hard to grip. And because of the length, you’ll have 20 knots after braiding 3 loops.Wouldn’t buy again, but again.. it’s very pretty.
