Pete the Kitty's First Day of Preschool (Pete the Cat)

I read this with my 3-year-old son to help him get ready for pre-K, and it was a hit. The story did a great job of getting him excited about school and more comfortable with the idea of saying goodbye to family and meeting a new teacher.The illustrations are fun, the message is positive, and it really helped ease some of those first-day jitters.Highly recommend for any child getting ready to start preschool or daycare. Great way to start the conversation and build excitement!

The media could not be loaded. This is a perfect book for a little one's first day of school. I gave it to my niece and she loved it. The pictures of Pete the Cat really caught her attention. It's made of sturdy cardboard, and the designs and story are age-appropriate. I loved reading this book to my niece.

The media could not be loaded. A cute book for kids about to enter preschool. It’s quick and colorful, and Pete is excited about school/loves being there. It doesn’t address anxiety, feeling nervous, or sadness about saying goodbye to parents (if you’re looking for that, Lovevery has a great one you can buy on Amazon). My daughter liked it and still picks to read it 2/3 of the way through her first year of preschool.

Perfect book for those going to prek!

My son loves Pete the Cat, we bought this and read before he starts pre-school. He loves it, even started to read it by himself. Such a positive and cute story about starting school. Made my child be excited and happy about school life.
