I have many knives. Sheath knives, filet knives pocket knives, hunting knives, skinning knives and the list goes on. I have purchased other quick release knives from more well known companies, paid a lot more for some than I did this one and I can honestly say, this is the absolute best quick release pocket knife I’ve ever had. The more expensive and more well known knives don’t even come close. This is tough, durable, easy to sharpen and holds a good edge. I bought my first one to try it out, not expecting much but I’ve gone on to buy more that a dozen, giving some to my friends, having extra in storage in case I lose the one I’m carrying and just to have others on hand when I need them. Boat, four wheeler, camper, three in my truck. My wife, grown children and grown grandchildren either carry this one or the black frame one. The black frame Air Force knife is equally as good as the silver one but I like the silver one better because it fits my hand better and is more streamlined. Same quality, durability and very reasonably priced too. As I write this I’m ordering three more to have them on hand. Great gifts for the serious outdoors person.

I have been searching decades for a knife I can rely on for everyday carry and use. I finally found it in this Elite Tactical Knife (ETK)! This knife is way better than the Fairbaine Applegate knife I paid $90 for 22 years ago. I stopped carrying that knife because the clip is too short and it would fall out of my pocket regularly. This ETK has an excellent clip. It holds secure but not so stiff it doesn't want to come out, like the Hoffman Richter (HR) pocket knife I have. The HR is also too heavy to carry every day. This ETK however, is of a good, sturdy weight but too heavy. I held this ETK under running water and I was still able to open it up with one hand easily. I can't do that with the Hoffman Richter which has a slippery body and tight release. I'm impressed that I can quickly open up this ETK with one hand, whether it is clipped to my right or left front pocket. I can't do that with my other assisted opening knives. This knife is also very sharp and nice looking as well. But above all, I am impressed by how its makers paid attention to so much detail from the point of view of the knife user. It's obvious the makers of my other knives didn't do that. This Air Force Elite Tactical Knife is the best knife I've every owned!

This knife is out right SHARP both literally and figuratively. Mine had a very nice edge right out of the box, and really looks great. Very well made. Size was what you would expect for an EDC knife. Easy to open, but not loose it does take some effort to open which in my opinion is good. Understand it is NOT hard to open it does have a spring assest. So far I have nothing negative to say about this purchase. After reading other reviews I don't see anyone not loving this knife. If your looking for an every day carry knife that displays your branch of service look no further, you've found it.

I have now purchased three of these knives with 1 being for me and the other two as gifts. These knives are visually beautiful especially right when you take them out of the box. For anyone that has an attachment to any of the military branches offered you would be proud to own or give one of these knives as a gift. There is nothing flimsy about these knives. You can instantly tell that they are made with good materials and feels solid in your hand when you hold it. For some reason the chrome version feels slightly heavier than the black version but both are great. The blade is plenty sharp and also seems to be made from quality materials. At this price I don't think there is a better option out there.

I use this for work and camping. Just FYI, it may not be California compliant. Just be careful where you bring it (legally).

The knife feels heavy, durable, and decent quality. I've had many pocket knives in the past but the weight alone on this was noticable and just felt kind of pleasant really. Right out the box it was really sharp. I didn't realize it was an assisted blade and was pressing on the knob to reveal the blade, and the assisted aspect of it kicked in and flicked the knife out further than I was intending. The edge wouldn't have been facing my other hand of course, but the side of the edge scraped against my hand and I recognized immediately that sensation and knew the blade was sharp. If you want something for your own pride, or as a gift to express your pride in another, this is a good choice.

Well made and Attractive, heavy, not practical to carry on your person. Not particularly comfortable in the hand.
