I had a bout of atopic dermatitis on my face over the holidays - no doubt caused by stress. After the debacle of the dermatologist prescribing cortisone cream (which made my face far, far worse), I decided that I would stick with self-treatment. I tried a bunch of stuff, but what worked for me was this Biotin, and gentle cleanser and lotion (Cetaphil). My face is back to normal now, and I hope to never go through that again!

I have used this product a liked it. It helped stop my hair loss and made my nails stronger. This times I ordered two bottles. One bottle came broken. Since they're not returnable and they're delivered USPS, I contacted the vendor, who includes info to do this inside the box, I sent them an email 4 days ago - no reply as yet. This is why I rated it only 1 star.Update: Vendor replaced one broken bottle with two. Changed rating to 5. This product really helps my hair and my nails.

Nothing wrong with this product, but I bought it by mistake. I wanted a higher-potency biotin formula. It's okay as-is but wasn't what I wanted.

I read and study food science and nutrition to assist 2 family members medical conditions: Diabetes Type II and Sjogrens Syndrome. There is strong medical research indicating that Biotin helps with maintain sugar levels by enabling the cells to process energy more efficiently. A Sjogrens is a autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks the moisture in your body - you end of with painfully dry skin, dry eyes, dry mouth, dry skin and scalp, brittle hair and nails, and lack of energy. Many people use high levels of Biotin to help with hair and nail growth - but the high levels can be problematic for those on medications. My goal was to insure that my family was not deficient in Biotin because of dietary restrictions. I was elated to find this 300mcg dose - 2 pills give you a full measure of daily Biotin. Since starting on this 300mcg Biotin at breakfast and dinner, my diabetic family member has experienced more "sustained" energy. My other family member has also experienced more sustained energy, and is hopeful that over time that her hair and nails will also strengthen. The bottle is thick amber glass, the quality of the biotin is superb, and the expiration date is 2 years out. I will buy Solgar Biotin from this company again. Highly recommended.
