I’m ONLY rating 5 stars so others can be warned you are not selling what is pictured but a copy cat comb. DO NOT BUY FROMTHIS SELLER, item is a COPY CAT comesI’m completely different packaging and not the comb again advertised. The quality doesn’t seem to be as good regardless of the price and there “ no return policy” now I know why this is in place. I’ve found the actual brand they are claiming to sell and yes it me $25 but quality is worth it. This selleris false advertising....period. Shameful the things people wil do to earn a few dollars...in this case $3. and some change. 😒

So I intially thought it was good until I realized my scalp was burning after using it. Turns out I was repeatedly cutting my scalp with it. How? One prong was not machined so it was a raw metal edge scaping my scalp...hence the burn I felt. I hope I don't have an infection. Refunded. Don't buy. There was a piece of sharp plastic on the side but for 3 bucks I wasn't initially concerned since the handle isn't going to contact my scalp but if my hair was longer it might've caught my hair and quite frankly I'm pissed that my scalp is hurt because of it.

Takes the time out of going to other African American hair salon's and works just as well. There are a few different types that look very similar but this brand holds up to the density and weight of my afro. The metal isn't thin nor super thick but strong enough to allow me to pick my hair wet or dry.

I love the way customers are repurposing this hair pick as a veggie slicer. Since three come to a pack, you can allocate one for hair, one for onions, and one for tomatoes.My purpose in purchasing this set was for my son to groom his afro. He prefers this short and stout pick to the  longer  and thinner picks (see pic 1 for size comparison.) He says the wider base of shorter and stronger tines separates and fluffs his hair without painful snarling. He’s right. His hair has way more volume since using this pick (see pic 2).A great price for a solid set of picks.

Product looks and feels cheap (wires a little unaligned and plastic is light, scratched, and poorly processed). Packaging looks and feels cheap also. The price is certainly cheap as well. Cheap, cheap, cheap.... BUT it works GREAT and I would recommend this to those who want to use a pic for their hair. P.S. (My hair is fine yet long, thick, and a little wavy).

I ordered six of these in order to comb fiber/fleece for spinning. To do that I fused two together with the tines off center of each other. I combed just like you would with regular valkyries or other combs. I'm saving the last two to make a hackle by securing them to a block or something, haven't figured that part out yet. These make an okay worsted preperation/ combed top, but not great. For the price, they're worth it for a slower worsted spin.

I saw a tip on YouTube about using a hair pic as a guide to evenly slice fruit and veggies. Works like a charm! It can be used to slice eggs, too but I have a dedicated slicer for eggs that works better.

I have super curly hair thick afro I get asked if I'm Bob ross all the time.. but I didn't realize it was a black power pick.. I just got it because it had a b on it.. but it don't matter to me as long as they my are strong enough for my hair

Barbershop/Salon Quality Product. Nice handle, smooth stainless steel tines, easy to use and slips well through hair, even 4C type curly hair. Will purchase more products from this manufacturer.

I don’t have an Afro but I do have very curly hair. This isn’t working very well for me, I find the ends too sharp, most picks I’ve used in the past have blunt ends.
