Great headset.
So I ordered this while it was on sale a few weeks back. I paid for it, wasn't given to me as a freebie. At first I was concerned about the color as I REALLY wanted the NRGs with the white cord. Just thought that was classy with the chrome accents. However $16 vs $25, while not much, is enough. I got mouths to feed and again, wasn't a freebie. I think the XTC ones on sale were the white, but i liked the chrome accents more. So i bit the bullet and got it.The yellow isn't a bright yellow, more of a slightly darker, almost to the point of a yellow mixed with a bit of orange to give it a slightly darker look. Not much, just enough to know its not bright yellow. The wood looks gorgeous with the chrome trim. There are different sets, some with the darker wood, some with lighter, and I love the lighter wood. The cord does feel like fabric, nothing like traditional cords. My old Beat Buds, that for some reason stopped working on my phone, yet work fine on my PC would get tangled, but so far so good with the NRGs. The package has two different sets of rubber inserts, the dark/yellow and the clear ones. Both come in S, M, L. for some reason the right side (I use the mic side on the right) keeps falling out. Either my ear is smaller on that size, or something up. I just push it in deal with it. Might try a Small on that side tonight.Compared to the Beats, I will say that the sound feels "Warmer." At first I was like, why is everyone saying that??? Now I understand. The bass is deeper on the NRGs than my Beats were, and the previous SkullKandy I had before that. Two analogies I can think of is being wrapped in a warm fleece velour blanket when you are cold. Your ears feel that warmth settling over it as you hear music. The Beats, while great on my old phone which was software enhanced for Beats, sound more of a light blanket. you are still shivering and don't feel as comfy. Or for those that don't like that analogy, then going into a cold auditorium to hear a concert, vs a symphony hall. I know these aren't hundreds of $$$, but that is my analogy. Don't like it, get your own. The point is that you can feel/hear the difference and it feels conforting as you listen to music, and at $16, they sound light years away from others in this price point.A few cons i have, is that when I use them on my PC at work, as it rubs on my shirt, i CAN hear that interference against my shirt when it rubs. The Beats didn't do that, and the SkullKandy was terrible. I only used those to mow. also, i wish the set had FF/FR/ buttons. Wouldbe nice to just skip tracks without pulling it out of your bag/pants. Was in a rain storm and had them in my rain jacket. Obviously i wasn't going to take it out to skip and go back. Disappointing on that, and being in Florida with frequent showers, especially in the summer I have to knock it down a star. The mic did great at capturing my Moto X's voice wakeup. The moto X is great in that without even touching it, I can say "Ok Google" or whatever I program it to, and it will wake up and do what i tell it to. Basically Google Now, but at the phone level, even if the screen is locked. So that it could still register while the phone was in my pocket and just with the mic on the headphones was great. The Beats was supposed to have a mic, but my wife always complained about it.So would I get them again. sure. At $16 they are a steal. What about $25? more than likely. I almost got some Sennheisers for about $40, but i'd rather pay $25 for these, they'v eyet to disappoint.

Both skullcandy and sony have better ear buds in the $30-$40 range that sound better ...
EDIT: i was contacted by symphonized customer service and offered a new pair of headphones. much better wuality but different model. i am adding stars for excellent customer service. Both skullcandy and sony have better ear buds in the $30-$40 range that sound better in both high and low frequencies. I paid for these, not a sample. I'm highly disappointed in these ear buds as I had hopes they would at least be decent for the price. I bought them to replace my skullcandy titans which I liked, but broke. These are a very low end oriented earbud. There isn't much high end response. The mid range is decent but I can't get around the lack of any high end response. Putting on a rock album (weezer) the bass guitar sounds good, bass drum sounds great but the cymbals are so low that it sounds filtered and unnatural. Highly highly dissapointed in what is a very good looking piece. Stick with Sony or skull candy in the $30 to $40 range

Excellent for price point and long sitting sessions at your desk!
The noise-cancelling does a decent job, but they're certainly not a pair of BOSE. However, at this price point, these in-ear headphones do an excellent job. You're still gonna hear loud construction or cars honking, but they take out most unwanted noises. I do agree with other reviewers about the nylon; you can definitely hear the nylon cords brush around with the earbuds in. I would imagine it can be distracting for people who are looking for a pair during their walks or trips to the gym, but if you're going to sit on a bus or at your apartment to (mostly) drown out your roommates, I'd highly recommend these.I am no expert on sound quality, but if you're looking for bass, do not seek it here. I bought these to cancel out noise, not for sound quality, but I'd say these are decent. Also, I love how attractive they are! I can't say for other color options, but the deep yellow color is true to the stock photos. The "wood" color is lighter than that of the stock photos, but I don't mind; it's still a nice touch (though I'm skeptical about their supposed acoustic performance versus plastic). I think the many color options are wonderful.Overall, very good quality for the price point. If you will be sitting around a lot and don't want to fork over $300+ for a pair of BOSE, then the Symphonized in-ear headphones are an excellent choice.UPDATE FEB 2016: Sound is out in one ear. Quality isn't as great as I'd hoped, but for the price, I'm not surprised. Sad. May order another pair.

Audiojack Tip broke in half and half of it got stuck INSIDE my device!!
Headphones sounded great!! They are really cool, the color, the cord fabric...the multiple ear gels. Was really happy until..... the audio jack decided to BREAK IN HALF. in the middle of the day. Of course half of the jack is still STUCK inside my phone. Making it useless as far as audio goes.I have this happen to me once but it was with some really cheap headphones, but since then i started to invest a little bit more on headphones.I really dont know what happened... one minute i was listening to music the next i was NOT .. then came to realize my headphones got unplugged.. saw they looked weird and then found out that they where missing half of the tip... My next hope was, PLEASE let it be not inside my phone!!... but sadly it was. :(Made my device useless.. hoping now to save up to take it to get it looked up and fix it.Now, I know it was not a 50 dlls headphone set... but i have had used those that they give you in bus trips and last me over a month. Im just disappointed .......

60 Day Update!
First off - I would like to state that for $30 headphones, these sound great. I like the style, I like the feel. The cord seems to have a little extra length and it comes out of the plug at a slight angle, which I hope will provide some strain relief. Two things I would caution on:1.is that the cord is wrapped in a braided nylon - which feels great and I hope helps reinforce the cable against damage - but as a trade off it tangles very easily.2. The multi-function button feels a little on the cheap side. Will update again on durability and quality of warranty if they break. They come with a card that says the company will fix pretty much any problem with them.60 DAY Update: Headphone are still working fine and review above still valid. Overall I like these headphones, but they tangle very easily and the button that felt cheap has a hard time differentiating between a single, double and triple depress.

Excellent design and very comfortable, Good sound but not neutral, boosted bass at expense of mids and highs
I like these headphones enough to not return them, I typically listen to music on my very well acclaimed Axiom M3 towers, so I know when I hear good sound. These have boosted bass at the expense of mids and highs. As a result you end up pumping the volume to hear your mids and highs. They do not sound too bad and if the bass was boosted anymore I would have listener fatigue. If you are looking for neutral sound, look elsewhere. I got this as I lost me Senhiesser CX 300 II, they are much more neutral and to be honest if I could go back I would order those, I got them on a sale just $10 more than these. On the other hand, these are definitely more comfortable than the senhiesser and have a mic too.

Good look and sound
I really like the look and sound of these headphones. Unfortunately I kept having to glue one of the earpieces back together, and after a few times that the ear piece pulled out of its casing it stopped working.

Two Stars
Headphones only lasted three months before right side stopped working. Very disappointing! Replacement pair is still going strong however and their Customer Service department was outstanding! Very impressed how quickly this was resolved.
