Amazon Basics Landscape Edging Coil, pack of 10 Stakes, 5 inch x 40FT, Brown

I purchased this product to keep the mulch from washing out of my border every time it rained, or the dogs tracked it out. It is well priced, easy to install (if you push back the dirt/mud beforehand, then use it as backfill after putting the edging in place), and of good, sturdy quality.

Solid, affordable edging system. This edging makes a nice crisp break between my lawn and garden. I was surprised at how sturdy it is with the anchors that come with it. The only downside is that they should provide a few more of the anchors.There is plenty of depth and due to the limited width of the edging, you don't need to do a ton of extra work to dig out soil. Get yourself an edging tool, create a crisp line, and this will go in perfectly. You need to make sure that you have enough support on both sides to keep it sturdy, though. Soil/grass on one side, and a mulched garden bed on the other works very well.

I went to the Home Depot to buy this very same type product and found a 20 foot one for $29.99. This one is 40 feet at $25.99. Less money twice the length.... much better for me.

Super quality for the price! Sturdy but bends enough to cover a 90 degree corner. The stakes work perfectly, although not as good as metal. For the price, highly recommend!

These ended up looking ok, but were more of a pain than I anticipated to install. I thought I would just be able to go around the flower bed and kind of hammer it down into the dirt, but that didn't work at all. I ended using my gas powered rotary edger and going around the outside of the bed to create a small ditch into which I could put the edging. Also, I wish they would have provided more stakes so I could follow the contour of the flower bed more exactly.Overall, good value for the price, but not great.

I have installed over 200 ft. of this stuff. Great for the price. I try to leave about an inch exposed.

This edging is great. I keep ordering more. It looks a lot better than the black tube edging and is easier to work with. Unlike most of the edging, it is wide enough to keep grass from sneaking under it while still retaining a large enough lip to keep the grass from growing over. I buzz along it with the string trimmer and keeps looking good. Only thing I would ask is a couple of extra stakes in the package. There are plenty for the recommended spacing, but sometimes when doing a really bendy section, a couple of extra would be nice.
