Performance Tool W54213 18 Gauge Tempered Stainless Steel Grease Injector Needle with Protective Cover for Hand Grease Guns

Used this on HF grease gun. Fit perfect and grease actually came out. The coupler does not get stuck on the zerk fitting. It pumps grease exactly like it is supposed to. My coupler that came with the grease gun did not want to pump grease through the fitting, but this coupler solved my issue.

The needle tip is too large and didn't seat well on flat zerks. The Lock n' Lube needle tip works way better.

This W54219 adapter is perfect for working with flush zerks. When using on pneumatic tools, others like the Lincoln 5803 have a very small footprint. This one provides a footprint that is a bit larger that can provide better fitment into the zerk, thus making the whole process smoother.The quality of this adapter is not the greatest, but it works quite well when used properly. I read the reviews on this and hesitated to buy as a result. I am happy I made the purchase. Flush zerks cannot always be accommodated with a single adapter and this footprint has its place. This is a hand use only adapter, but in addition, the opening for grease flow is quite small. So in addition to hand use, you need to apply pressure appropriately.For the price I highly recommend this product. I gave a 4 star vs 5 because the overall design can be prohibitive for some uses. I also have the Lincoln 5803 for which I also give 4 of 5. It is important to look at your use and choose the proper tool. Unfortunately, this does not have the option of different tips, so it cannot be adapted to multiple needs.

Needed this to grease the front differential shaft on a 2015 RAM 2500. Got it done. However, you must angle the tip of the needle fairly accurately to get grease to penetrate the hole when pumping or it will just squirt grease everywhere in this tight spot. It is good that the differential shaft spins freely with the truck in park to get the angle right. I'd probably recommend trying the grease needles labeled "injector" so that it can get deeper in the hole. Those also are a couple bucks cheaper. Youtube makes it look like either will work in this application.

I had this type of fitting before for a chainsaw bar greaser. it worked great but I gave that one to my father. I purchased this one and even though it works, the tip is a bit large and uneven for the grease hole for a chainsaw bar. I made it work, but it would have been better if i didn't have to.

Needle end comes apart while using grease gun . This unit is a two part system , and the joint will come apart when dispensing grease.It can be done, but will take the user 30 mins more to finish task.Well made, not fragile .Writer not paid for or gifted with respect of review .
