I got this hand mixer to replace and old one that I had for about thirty years .i was a little unsure of what it would be like.When it arrived I was really pleased with it .lighter than my old one and with two sets of blades one set for mixing ànd one for dough.Itveirks a dream I'm more than happy with it.Plus is quiteter than my other one

This broke in less than 2 months and new one I got broke in 3 and a half months.
I like this but its not reliable and if buying this keep the paperwork and the receipt as it could well go faulty in less than 4 months. Be prepared to have to contact manufacturer and Amazon and return it.I got one of these on 25/05/24 which broke and just threw it away. I brought the same model 17/07/24 and that has now broken 07/11/24. This time I contacted the manufacturer Russell Hobbs on their phone number on their instruction booklet. I had to send pictures and video of it and a copy of the receipt and have been informed I wont get a free replacement and told to contact Amazon as less than 1 year old and they could not do anything. Amazon were very helpful and I have got a refund at the price I paid. The seller has put the price up. I have ordered another one and am hoping 3rd time lucky .In both cases the same problem. The mixer still works but there is a loud rattling sound inside this and it does not sound safe to use as the rattling noise gets louder if you use it again.

Not very robust
I was hoping this would be better than my last mixer but the beaters are quite small and not very strong ok for simple batter mixture and cream but not particularly cake baking
