This book lit a fire in me and made me better in a lot of areas in my life. Stronger, more disciplined, and a better understanding of how the world works and what mens’ role should be. I’ve gifted this book to many men and will gift it to many more. Start the World

Good short read.I can are it being good for young men trying to find their way.Nothing beats experience though

This is a Brilliant book. It’s not high-brow but it’s really good. Makes you realise things that you’ve always known deep down. Puts everything into perspective very well

Overall a very good book. A good amount of quotes from past great men that tie men to honor, masculinity, and virtues. The book didnt have a whole lot of cited factual information, but instead delivers an argument as to why men act the way they do and delivers upon those ideas by showing ideals and an insight to the men of our past.For all the haters and femenists out there:This book stimulates many ways if thinking how a society and people should act, but understand jack never told us HIS ideal society or what he thinks should be masculine. He lets us choose for ourselfs to figure out what traits a man needs in order to be considered manly.

First, you should know that the author does not imply that this is the undeniable universal truth for all men. This is his truth and how he arrived at it. At the end of the day you can either agree with his arguments or not. I feel that he makes many more valid points than invalid, for me.I will say this of his detractors that wrote unflattering reviews. This much is clear most, if not all of them, are men that Jack Donovan probably wouldn't want to be a part of his "gang" anyway. That'll make more sense after you read the book and for $12 it's worth the read. I digress looking at the negative reviewers other product reviews it's pretty clear that they were looking for a guidebook on how to be a man. Spoiler alert you must have some masculine traits prior to reading this book otherwise it'll come across like reading a foreign language.So to the girl that got chocolate ice cream on his tennis shoes (I know it was very important to you to name the brand and style of shoe, talk about insecure) or the sweetheart that reviewed a bread box, my favorite was the princess that also reviewed both a face cream skin moisturizer AND a Pokémon Deluxe Handbook clearly you ladies are not Jack Donovan's target audience.Perhaps in the future Jack will write an instructional book describing step by step how to be a man. Chapter 1: Peeing standing up. But until then this is a good philosophical take on being a man amidst a modern world bent on destroying masculinity.

My son says that there's a book that all men should have. I personally have not read it but my son says that it's a great book. He actually got to read it in school
