Gishy Goo Orthodontic Wax for Braces, Brackets, Wires Pain Relief (5 Count)

Why did I not know about this product sooner? My kiddo’s wax was constantly falling off his braces. Then someone recommended this to us. So glad they did!! This product is easy to use and stays on the braces until taken off.

This may not be the easiest product to work with, but it works better than traditional wax because 1) it sticks better, and 2) its shape can be customized to wherever you need to place it and whatever you need to place it upon. Once you get the hang of the application process, it's so much better than wax. If you're concerned about the price, only use it in instances when wax will not work, instead of all the time. Tip: wet your fingers slightly before applying the product to your braces. This will help the goo not adhere to your fingers as much while it sets and hardens. Roll the goo into a little ball and apply. Hold the goo in place on your braces with your fingers until it starts to set, then you should be able to slowly pry your fingers off when it hardens. I kind of use my tongue a little bit to help pry it off my fingers.

When wax isnt enough to prevent my braces from hurting the inside of my mouth, this product is great! Sticks nicely to braces to protect my mouth but also comes off easily. Hardens nicely.

Absolutely a must for braces

My daughter plays trumpet and this was recommended by our dentist to help with her braces. She absolutely loves this. She is able to apply it herself without getting it everywhere. Then when her performance is over, she is able to remove it without damage or residue. Even her teacher asked for the name so she could recommended this to other middle schoolers!! Fantastic product!!

I use this product over my brace end brackets, on the areas that bump my lips. I have an extremely dry mouth so the skin on my cheeks is very tender. No matter how careful I am, I get canker sores and bracket scratches. Gishy Goo covers all the poky parts, and best of all I can eat and drink without having to remove it. I just wish it came in a larger size and maybe had a minty taste. I love this stuff. Grandson (age 8) says I should get "wild" colors and put it on all my teeth. I would too. So try this stuff, especially if you have a tender mouth .

This product is a much better value for anyone who is using any type of orthodontic device such as braces or retainers. Gooshy goo is a life saver.

I am an adult and I have braces. I was excited to get this product because I thought I had finally found something that would stay put and easy to use. Well, it does neither. It is difficult to use. There is such a small window for when the product is ready to be applied. If I apply to early, it comes back out on my finger. If I apply to late, in just a couple seconds, it is already set and won't attach to those pointy areas that are bugging me. Add to that the expense of Gishy Goo, and I just don't have enough evidence to purchase this product again, or recommend it to someone else.

ワイヤーでの歯列矯正です。ワイヤーや装置のあたりで舌や頬の内側がどうしても傷つくのですがこちらを使う事でかなり緩和されました。 つける部分の水分を拭き取って置く事がコツですが固まるとかなりしっかりくっついています。 場所によっては歯磨きをしてもくっついてくれています。 優れものです。

これがあるのとないのじゃ、全然痛みが違います。歯科矯正2年目ですが、今でも口内炎ができたりすると痛いので常にストックしてます。

高いことを除けば実用的な商品でした。 他に安くてたくさん使えるものを見つけて、買わなくなりました。

1ヶ月ほど前から矯正を始めました。 器具が舌やほっぺたの内側にあたり、痛くてご飯が食べられず、対策にギシグーを買いました。 最初は何度も失敗ばかりで、しばしばすぐに外れてやり直してましたが、コツが分かるとしっかり付いてくれ、たいてい食べ物もそのまま食べられます。 一度、一ヶ所取り忘れたままガシガシ歯磨きしましたが、全く取れていませんでした。 私なりのコツですが、 ①2,3ミリ出して、1分以内でムラなくしっかり練り合わせる。ムラがあると取れやすい。 ②気になる部分の水分をふきとり、あとの1分でそこに押し込むようにからませるように指で押さえ、固まるまで少し待つ です。 豆くらいの大きさと説明書に書いてあったので、大豆くらいを想像していましたが、大きすぎてすぐに取れてしまいます。 器具によって適切な量は違いますが、大きさは豆というより、BB弾くらいがいいかなと思います。 あと、練り合わせてる間、コットンを口に入れて気になる部分の水分を吸い取らせておくと、すぐに装着できるのでいいと思います。 あと、衛生上問題はあるかもですが、私は前日の夜に念入りに歯磨きをし、ギシグーをつけてそのまま寝て朝装着する手間を省いています汗 もちろん朝昼は装着したまま歯磨きで、そのまま夜歯磨きするまで装着したままです。 結局12時間オーバーの24時間装着なのですが、それくらいしっかりついててくれるので安心感はあります。
