This product is easy to use, just mix with water and give to cats daily. It is odorless and does not change the taste of the water. My cats don’t even know anything is there. It definitely helps keep their teeth cleaner.

Zymox (Pet King) produces consistently effective, safe, well-priced products to prevent tooth decay, ear and skin infections, and a variety of other conditions which we once treated with hard brushing, antibiotics or other medications. I've used this formula for my terrier rescue for 14 months with outstanding results. While my vet sees slight tartar above the gum-line, my dog will not need formal dentistry for the next 12 months because of this safe, effective enzyme treatment. I might also add that the Zymox Otix (HC 1.0%) does a superb job in resolving and preventing a variety of common ear infections.I once spent so much more on preparations my dog didn't need. I'd give this water additive a try whether or not you brush your dog's teeth. If you do, the results will probably be outstanding, especially if you're certain to avoid all sugars and molasses in your dog's food and treats. As a substitute for daily brushing, it will do a solid, suitable job at keeping your pet's teeth and gums healthy.

I have a full breed Husky born with heretically bad teeth - several fell out from her early chewing habits and two had to be removed before she was 3 years old. I bought this additive at half the cost charged by the VET - after 6 months use I see big improvements - definitely oral protection - looks like it makes teeth stronger - no more loose teeth - breath is great - no plaque or brown marks on the teeth now - color is much better and since I cant brush their teeth - this is a godsend. Note my dogs don't eat grocery store food / little human food except for chicken - rice - cottage cheese and are provided a higher end canine kibble and lots of water. Anyone who has had a big dogs teeth pulled knows the HIGH cost of that - most insurance wont cover extractions. I highly recommend this product - a squirt in every water bowl - every time you change it. This size bottle lasts us 4-5 months for two dogs - BUY IT!

I have two senior dogs who cannot be anesthesia (teeth cleaning) due to existing health issues. Vet recommend this and I am pleasantly surprised how well it works.It has no flavor but makes incredible difference in their breath. Highly recommend.

Always add it to the dogs water. I use the human version (Biotene) for dry mouth and it works, so I suppose it works for them too. It doesn't really help with bad breath. If you're looking for a cure for that, use this in conjunction with this and canine toothpaste. It tends to settle and is heavier than water. I always add some water to the bottom of the bowl, add the Oratene, and then fill the rest of the bowl with high pressure water to mix. That does the trick.

I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. My 9 ye old mix had horrible breath. And does have bad teeth. I squirted this in his water and at first he didn’t drink. So I washed bowl then gave him fresh water with no additive. Next day I gave him water with one pump. He drank water. Then day after I did the 2 pumps. He drank it. I do notice his breath is less unpleasant with this in his water. I will try the enzyme toothpaste next.

I didn't start using this for my dogs until they were 10 yrs old. I wish I had discovered it sooner. Their teeth already had a lot of gunk on them and their vet had recommended teeth cleaning. But the quote was quite expensive and then had to be multiplied by two dogs. And although I am a person who stays on top of my dogs' health regardless of cost (one had emergency surgery with 4 days in ICU at a cost of $6k), I procrastinated on the teeth cleaning. I got this in the interim and the vet noticed a difference at their next visit. But then I ran out and being the procrastinator that I am didn't get some for a few months. And wouldn't you know the vet noticed the difference (in a bad way) at the last visit. Needless to say, I now make sure I never run out. It's so easy to just put a couple of pumps in the water bowls every time I fill them, there's no reason to not do it. They still lap up the water as much as they always have, so it must not make the water taste yucky. I can't ask for anything better than that!

My dog has been using this for 6 years and his teeth are white as snow. No bad breath ! And he is 10 years old !
